Espahotel Gran Vía

I honestly expected a small, outdated place, but I was pleasantly surprised—this hotel is much bigger than I thought. The room showed some age, but it was well-maintained and had everything I needed. I stayed on the 6th floor, which was incredibly quiet and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The location is unbeatable—right next to a metro station and just a short walk from the historic city center. Everything you’d want is within easy reach: restaurants, shops, attractions. In a neighborhood where prices can get high, this hotel stands out as one of the more affordable options with excellent value and comfort. It’s a fantastic choice if you’re looking for convenience, cleanliness, and a peaceful stay without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend it!

Espahotel Plaza de España

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The room was spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained—every detail, from the linens to the bathroom fixtures, felt fresh and well cared for. What really stood out was the compact kitchenette; being able to boil water and cook a quick noodle meal in-room saved me time and money, which was perfect for budget-conscious travelers who still want comfort. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—right next to Plaza de España, just a 5-minute walk to Gran Vía. I spent my afternoons strolling through the bustling streets, exploring local shops, and enjoying authentic tapas at nearby cafes. Public transport is super accessible too—just a short walk to the metro. It’s rare to find such a great mix of convenience, cleanliness, and value all in one place. If you're visiting Madrid, this is definitely a top choice. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hotel Catalonia Gran Via Madrid

This recently renovated hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay with a great location. Despite having 7 floors and somewhat old-fashioned elevators, they work perfectly fine and don’t hinder the experience at all. The real highlight is the unbeatable location—situated right between two metro stations (Gran Via and Sevilla), with a bus stop just outside the door.
