Two days before my planned arrival, I reached out to the host, Mr. Dhruv, to confirm the details—only to be met with a confusing response asking which property I had booked. After sharing my booking information, he informed me that the apartment I reserved had actually been occupied for over a month and was no longer available. He offered a downgrade to a deluxe room instead, which I declined. This situation was completely unacceptable. If the unit was already taken, why was it listed as available on the platform? What if I had shown up without prior notice—where would I have stayed? The lack of transparency and communication reflects a deeply unprofessional approach. While my payment was eventually refunded, the experience left me feeling frustrated and misled. The host’s attitude came across as careless, almost deceptive. I strongly advise future guests to proceed with caution before booking here—this kind of handling damages trust and could lead to serious inconvenience.

Staying at Skylink Suites Bed & Breakfast in South Ex was a mixed experience. The location is convenient—just a short walk from the metro—and being in a residential area means it’s quiet and far from the crowded chaos of Paharganj. We were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost, which came with a spacious 15x30 ft living-dining room featuring a dining table, three-seater sofas on both sides, and a TV that didn’t work initially. The bedroom had a comfortable large bed, a functional desk, chair, and a working TV after we followed up a few times. However, there were noticeable damp spots in several areas of the room, which is concerning for hygiene and comfort. Breakfast was delivered to our room—basic items like puri sabji and coffee—but the quality was underwhelming and fell short of expectations. Room service was slow, and when we checked out at 10:30 AM, the front desk staff couldn’t issue a printed bill because the manager wasn’t available. While the property is large and has potential, it needs better maintenance and more consistent staffing. With some improvements, this could be a solid choice for travelers looking for a peaceful stay in New Delhi.

The Florence Inn is a simple yet pleasant stay in New Delhi, perfectly located right next to Karol Bagh Metro Station—making travel around the city super convenient. While the hotel isn’t fancy, it’s clean, well-maintained, and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful—especially Mr. Kuma at reception, who went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. The breakfast is typical Indian style, but adding a few homemade tortillas made it much more enjoyable. It’s not about luxury here—it’s about comfort, value, and great hospitality. I’d definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Delhi.
