Just a 3-minute walk from Roma Street train station and super close to Queen Street, making transportation and daily errands incredibly convenient. The exterior is beautifully lined with stunning purple flowering trees—perfect for a quick photo op. On the ground floor, there's a cozy bar, while the second floor features a shared lounge and kitchen area where I cooked a few meals myself. The staff at the front desk were warm and helpful, always ready to assist. My room was clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed—comfortable bed, great soundproofing, fridge, TV, and complimentary toiletries. Even better, they allowed me to store my luggage the next day, which made my travel schedule so much easier. Staying at Breeze Lodge was an absolutely fantastic experience! The room had excellent air conditioning—so effective that even during the hottest summer days, it stayed cool and comfortable without any stuffiness. Common areas and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping ensuring no unpleasant odors and a consistently hygienic environment. The kitchen was well-equipped and included free paper towels—an unexpected but welcome touch for travelers who like to cook their own meals. The only small downside? There’s no water dispenser in the common area, so you’ll need to bring your own bottle or purchase bottled water. However, this isn’t a big issue thanks to the incredible convenience of nearby amenities: McDonald’s, KFC, and a 24-hour supermarket are all within a 3-minute walk—perfect for late-night snacks or last-minute essentials. Overall, for the price, getting a private AC unit and a fully functional kitchen is an unbeatable value. I was heading to a game at the Gabba and needed an overnight stay. This place was the most affordable option within walking distance, so I didn’t expect much—especially after comparing prices with other nearby hotels. To my surprise, the room was far better than I anticipated. It’s small but spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a one-night stay: TV, air conditioning, tea and coffee supplies, fresh linens, and a well-made bed. The bathroom had clearly been recently renovated—definitely a pleasant upgrade. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, convenient spot close to the Gabba, this is a solid choice. Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes. Great value, great location, and a really satisfying stay overall.
