Staying at Emporium Hotel South Bank was an absolute highlight of my Brisbane trip. The location is unbeatable—right next to South Bank Parklands, with easy walking access to the riverfront, restaurants, and all the city’s top attractions. The room itself is sleek and modern, with incredibly comfortable bedding that made falling asleep a dream. The view from the window? Absolutely stunning—every morning felt like a postcard. This room type is in high demand, so booking ahead is definitely recommended. What truly made the experience special was the rooftop pool. During the day, it’s open to all guests, but after 10 PM, it’s exclusively for hotel guests—meaning you get the whole level to yourself. That private, serene vibe at night was pure magic. And to kick things off, they even welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of champagne—such a thoughtful touch that really elevated the mood. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay—from check-in to checkout. They made us feel genuinely cared for, like we were part of the family. This place offers incredible value and unforgettable experiences. I’ll be back without a doubt.

Staying at The Manor Apartment Hotel in Brisbane was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the train station, with Woolworths just 30 seconds away and Queen Street only steps from the front door. I stayed in Room 10 on the ground floor, which was spacious and well-equipped. It had a full kitchen setup, complete with dishes, cookware, a washing machine, and dryer—perfect for my eight-day trip. Having laundry facilities right in the room made life so much easier. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, from front desk to breakfast service and housekeeping. While some of the furnishings showed signs of age, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. One minor downside was that Room 10 didn’t get much natural light—facing a postal building—and the windows couldn’t be opened. That said, rooms on higher floors seem to have better views and more sunlight. All in all, this was a highly satisfying stay. With its great location, convenience, and value, I’d definitely book here again if I return to Brisbane.
