Locanda Herion
Staying at Locanda Herion was a delightful experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square and surrounded by the charm of Venice’s canals and narrow streets. Rousseau's Apartment
We recently visited Venice with four adults and two children, and Rousseau's Apartment was absolutely perfect for our family. The apartment was huge—spacious enough for everyone to move around comfortably without feeling cramped. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully located right on the canal with stunning views of the water and even the distant Dolomites in the background. At night, we loved opening the windows and listening to the soft music drifting up from the restaurant below—such a magical Venetian touch. The area is walkable to some incredible local restaurants and bakeries, and getting to the airport was super convenient. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making our stay truly memorable. If we ever return to Venice, this will be our first choice—without a doubt.
Al Canal Regio - Guest House
First time in Venice, and despite a bit of trouble finding the place, it was totally worth it! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet super close to all the main attractions—just a short walk or quick transit away. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. A great little gem with excellent value. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Venice!

The hotel is perfectly located in Venice—just a short walk from major attractions and surrounded by great local restaurants. While the bathroom layout takes some getting used to (you need to angle yourself sideways to use the toilet or bidet), it’s not a dealbreaker. The room itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with authentic Venetian charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable—fell asleep the moment I lay down. Plus, they provided fresh slippers upon arrival, which made a big difference after long days exploring. Overall, an excellent stay with great value for money. I’d definitely return.

One thing to note for longer stays: towels aren’t changed daily, and there’s no daily housekeeping service, but honestly, that didn’t bother me at all given the overall value. Clean, comfortable, and great price—this place is a real gem. I’d definitely come back without hesitation.
Venice New Luxury Residence
My stay at this property was truly awful. The room was overrun with mosquitoes—I was bitten all over my body, and we ended up killing more than 30 of them. That’s completely unacceptable for any place claiming to offer a comfortable stay. There was a strong, persistent musty odor throughout the room that was impossible to ignore, making it unpleasant to be in. The cleanliness was extremely poor—everything looked dusty and neglected, as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned in weeks. I tried reaching out to the owner to report these issues, but there was no response whatsoever. Communication was nonexistent, and their lack of concern for guest comfort was disappointing. This was easily the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. I’d strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs.

The apartment was spacious but clearly not well-maintained. Accessing it required navigating through a very narrow alley, and the entrance was dirty with a steep staircase lacking handrails—definitely a safety concern. Upon arrival, the heating wasn’t working at all, and hot water was completely unavailable. It took multiple complaints before the boiler was finally reactivated, but even then, the heating never functioned properly throughout our stay. Bathroom amenities were extremely limited—basic toiletries were barely sufficient. While the location is decent and close to key areas, the overall condition of the unit and quality of service fell far short of expectations. The experience felt underwhelming for the price, and I wouldn’t recommend this property without significant improvements.
