Bristol Apart Hotel
I've stayed at Bristol Apart Hotel seven times over the past seven years, and I keep coming back because it's just perfect for me. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and super convenient for exploring downtown Mar del Plata. Everything else is excellent: clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value for the price. A few small things could be improved though. The hot water gets scalding instantly—there’s no way to cool it down once it’s on, so installing a thermostatic mixer would help avoid accidents. Also, the bathroom floors are slippery, so adding rubber mats would prevent falls. Lastly, the kitchen is missing some essentials like a hairdryer, iron, cutting boards, and serving dishes—adding these would make it even better. But honestly, these are minor issues. The overall experience is fantastic, and I’ll definitely return again next year.

A mini-fridge and electric kettle were handy for storing snacks and making hot drinks. The large smart TV offered great streaming quality, and Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout the stay. Parking was convenient and well-managed. Breakfast was generous and satisfying—excellent for starting the day. That said, the room felt chilly during our visit, despite the heater being on and both the bedroom and bathroom having radiators. With several cold days, the heat didn’t reach a comfortable level. The bathroom window didn’t close properly, letting in drafts, and one of the taps dripped slightly. Overall, the bathrooms could use more maintenance and modernization. There were occasional delays when accessing the parking gate, which was a minor inconvenience. Still, considering the location, comfort, and value, this is a solid choice for travelers looking for a central, hassle-free stay.

I stayed at this hotel back in 2013 and the experience was terrible—really disappointing. I only stayed one night before checking out to another property. Fast forward to January 2023, I returned because a friend told me the owners had changed and things were much better now—and she was absolutely right. The breakfast was delicious and well varied, staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It’s clear they’ve made real improvements. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, pleasant place to stay in Mar del Plata.
