My check-in experience with Carla at reception was outstanding: professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. She didn’t just handle my paperwork—she anticipated needs, offered helpful suggestions, and made me feel like a valued guest right away. The room itself was spotless, beautifully furnished, and packed with modern comforts. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept so well that I woke up refreshed every morning. What truly sets this place apart is the staff—their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help shine through in every interaction. From the bellhop to the housekeeping team, everyone goes the extra mile without making it feel forced. It’s clear they take pride in delivering exceptional service. Whether you're here for business or leisure, Hermitage offers a peaceful retreat where tradition meets comfort. It’s not just a hotel—it’s an experience. Hotel Spa Republica
This was my first stay at Hotel Spa Republica, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service across all departments—front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and breakfast—was exceptional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The spa facilities are top-notch: the sauna is relaxing, and the pool area feels like a true retreat. I highly recommend Gabriela for her fangotherapy session and Paula for her deep-relaxing massage—both were rejuvenating and professionally done. The room was spotless every day, and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied. Valet parking staff were courteous and efficient, making it easy to leave the car in safe hands. Located just a short walk from the city center, it’s also convenient if you’re exploring by metro. Overall, an outstanding experience with incredible value—definitely planning to return.
Hotel Tronador
I've stayed at Hotel Tronador before and I'm back again—definitely a place worth returning to. The service is excellent, and the facilities are top-notch. The pool area is fantastic—calm, inviting, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. It's one of the main reasons I keep coming back; it really delivers on tranquility. Breakfast is solid, though I did notice it seemed slightly smaller in portion size compared to my previous visit. Still, the quality remains strong. Staff are attentive and friendly throughout the stay. One small note: the parking space provided isn't very spacious, especially if you're driving a larger vehicle. But honestly, that minor issue doesn't take away from the overall experience. Great value, great location, and a peaceful retreat—highly recommend for anyone visiting Mar del Plata.
NH Gran Hotel Provincial
This hotel is absolutely massive—so big that navigating the corridors to your room can feel a bit disorienting at first. Thankfully, the signage is clear and you quickly find your way around. Still, walking through the long hallways, the atmosphere felt a little dull and repetitive. A small suggestion: adding some indoor plants along the pathways could really liven up the space. Even high-quality plastic plants would work well—almost indistinguishable from real ones—and they’d not only brighten the ambiance but also serve as helpful visual markers for guests who tend to get lost. The breakfast, though, was outstanding—especially the medialunas and faturas, which were fresh, buttery, and utterly delicious. Definitely worth waking up early for!

I had a great stay at Hotel Dorá in Mar del Plata! The restaurant and its dishes were excellent, the breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of fresh options. The climate-controlled pool was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing anytime of year. The only areas that could use some improvement are the room amenities: adding a mini-fridge would be a nice touch, and updating the room decor slightly—especially the bedding, curtains, and windows—would make a big difference. The table linens in the restaurant also looked a bit worn and could use replacing. However, the staff absolutely made up for everything—they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my visit. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the experience. Overall, it’s a well-located, comfortable hotel with strong value for money. I’d definitely recommend it and consider returning.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Hotel España! While we initially chose it for its prime location, what truly made us come back again and again was the incredible hospitality from the staff. They’re consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely go the extra mile—not just with practical touches like providing mate tea, calling taxis, or opening the elevator, but also through warm smiles, friendly tones, and that personal touch that makes you feel truly welcome. This human-centered service is what sets them apart from other hotels in the area. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained—great beds, working AC, TV, and a hairdryer in every room. Everything’s spotless and cozy, making it a perfect home away from home. Breakfast is generous, delicious, and varied—exactly what you want to start your day right. Despite being right in the heart of town, the hotel is remarkably quiet and peaceful. And as a huge fan of Cerati, I absolutely loved how they play his music in the background—it added such a special vibe. 10 out of 10 without hesitation!

The accommodation itself is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed with a lovely view of the sea. The location is ideal: quiet yet just a short walk from the beach and downtown. We’ve already recommended it to several friends, and they all loved it too. For us, this place is the ultimate retreat for relaxation and unwinding. The value for money is outstanding—truly 10 out of 10. If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway in Mar del Plata, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Staying at Hotel Denver Mar del Plata was an absolute delight—definitely one of the best value finds in the city. Though it's a 3-star property, the quality feels far above that standard. We booked a Deluxe Double Room facing the front, and it exceeded all expectations: spacious, clean, with a private balcony perfect for soaking in the sea breeze. The room came with a mini-fridge, a large safe (plenty big enough for a laptop), a wonderfully comfortable bed, and a well-sized bathroom with both air conditioning and heating—ideal for any season. The only minor wish? A couple of armchairs instead of just one would’ve made relaxing after a long day even better. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety, top-notch pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, and a great selection of teas and infusions. Special shoutout to Micaela at breakfast; her warm and attentive service really made the morning extra special. The hotel offers a full range of amenities: a spa, fitness center, indoor pool, and a cozy coworking space—perfect if you're working remotely or just want to unwind. Parking is available but comes at a fee. Front desk staff Francisco and Marcelo were incredibly friendly and helpful with every request. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just a few blocks from the beach and the Paseo Aldrey shopping area, making everything super accessible. With such a fantastic mix of comfort, convenience, and affordability, this place truly delivers excellent value. I’d absolutely stay here again—and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mar del Plata.
Gran Hotel Continental
Staying at Gran Hotel Continental in Mar del Plata was an absolute delight. The staff truly are the heart of the hotel—warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile. Breakfast is a highlight: fresh natural juices, perfectly flaky medialunas, and rich, well-balanced coffee with milk. And if you're a fan of cappuccino, this one is hands down the best in all of Mar del Plata—creamy, aromatic, and unforgettable. The location is excellent, just a short walk or metro ride from the beach. Only minor notes: the Wi-Fi could be stronger, and the pillows are a bit on the thinner side, but these are small details in an otherwise outstanding experience. This hotel offers incredible value and charm—definitely a place I’d return to without hesitation.
