Hotel Spa Republica
This was my first stay at Hotel Spa Republica, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service across all departments—front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and breakfast—was exceptional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The spa facilities are top-notch: the sauna is relaxing, and the pool area feels like a true retreat. I highly recommend Gabriela for her fangotherapy session and Paula for her deep-relaxing massage—both were rejuvenating and professionally done. The room was spotless every day, and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied. Valet parking staff were courteous and efficient, making it easy to leave the car in safe hands. Located just a short walk from the city center, it’s also convenient if you’re exploring by metro. Overall, an outstanding experience with incredible value—definitely planning to return.
Hotel Tronador
I've stayed at Hotel Tronador before and I'm back again—definitely a place worth returning to. The service is excellent, and the facilities are top-notch. The pool area is fantastic—calm, inviting, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. It's one of the main reasons I keep coming back; it really delivers on tranquility. Breakfast is solid, though I did notice it seemed slightly smaller in portion size compared to my previous visit. Still, the quality remains strong. Staff are attentive and friendly throughout the stay. One small note: the parking space provided isn't very spacious, especially if you're driving a larger vehicle. But honestly, that minor issue doesn't take away from the overall experience. Great value, great location, and a peaceful retreat—highly recommend for anyone visiting Mar del Plata.
Bristol Apart Hotel
I've stayed at Bristol Apart Hotel seven times over the past seven years, and I keep coming back because it's just perfect for me. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and super convenient for exploring downtown Mar del Plata. Everything else is excellent: clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value for the price. A few small things could be improved though. The hot water gets scalding instantly—there’s no way to cool it down once it’s on, so installing a thermostatic mixer would help avoid accidents. Also, the bathroom floors are slippery, so adding rubber mats would prevent falls. Lastly, the kitchen is missing some essentials like a hairdryer, iron, cutting boards, and serving dishes—adding these would make it even better. But honestly, these are minor issues. The overall experience is fantastic, and I’ll definitely return again next year.
NH Gran Hotel Provincial
This hotel is absolutely massive—so big that navigating the corridors to your room can feel a bit disorienting at first. Thankfully, the signage is clear and you quickly find your way around. Still, walking through the long hallways, the atmosphere felt a little dull and repetitive. A small suggestion: adding some indoor plants along the pathways could really liven up the space. Even high-quality plastic plants would work well—almost indistinguishable from real ones—and they’d not only brighten the ambiance but also serve as helpful visual markers for guests who tend to get lost. The breakfast, though, was outstanding—especially the medialunas and faturas, which were fresh, buttery, and utterly delicious. Definitely worth waking up early for!
Hotel Punta del Este
Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the beach and super convenient for exploring downtown. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great variety of homemade cakes that were fresh and delicious. The room was clean and well-maintained, and one of the biggest perks was the flexible check-in and check-out times—no rush, which made our trip much more relaxed. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The only minor drawback was the Wi-Fi—it worked fine but occasionally slowed down, especially during peak hours. Still, it didn’t detract from the overall quality of the stay. For the price, this place offers excellent value and would definitely be my top choice again.
Gran Hotel Continental
Staying at Gran Hotel Continental in Mar del Plata was an absolute delight. The staff truly are the heart of the hotel—warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile. Breakfast is a highlight: fresh natural juices, perfectly flaky medialunas, and rich, well-balanced coffee with milk. And if you're a fan of cappuccino, this one is hands down the best in all of Mar del Plata—creamy, aromatic, and unforgettable. The location is excellent, just a short walk or metro ride from the beach. Only minor notes: the Wi-Fi could be stronger, and the pillows are a bit on the thinner side, but these are small details in an otherwise outstanding experience. This hotel offers incredible value and charm—definitely a place I’d return to without hesitation.

Absolutely stunning from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service—truly a highlight of our stay. Located in a prime spot right near the beach, it’s super convenient for exploring the city or just soaking up the seaside vibe. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional—especially the lemon tarts at breakfast, which were simply unforgettable. We left feeling completely satisfied (and maybe a little full!). It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, location, and culinary delight. Can’t wait to come back and relive every moment. Keep up the amazing work!

Absolutely recommend this place! Located just 30 meters from the beach and within walking distance to the city center, pedestrian zone, and historic district—everything you need is right at your doorstep. We stayed for a week and were completely satisfied with the comfort, cleanliness, and value. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service—always ready to help with any request. Even though the rooms are compact, they’re well-equipped and spotless. It’s clear the management cares about guest experience. I’ve already decided to come back soon and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Hotel Cielo Azul
I stayed at this hotel back in 2013 and the experience was terrible—really disappointing. I only stayed one night before checking out to another property. Fast forward to January 2023, I returned because a friend told me the owners had changed and things were much better now—and she was absolutely right. The breakfast was delicious and well varied, staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It’s clear they’ve made real improvements. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, pleasant place to stay in Mar del Plata.

The location couldn't be better—just a few blocks from Bristol Beach and the Aldrey Shopping Center, making it super convenient for exploring the area. Francisco, the staff member, was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding: fresh pastries, crispy toast, creamy cheese, and homemade jams—everything tasted delicious. Even better, they allow guests to use the dining area if you pick up food from the rotisserie nearby, which added great flexibility. This place truly offers comfort, convenience, and excellent value. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Mar del Plata.

I didn’t book this hotel based on reviews—I actually love trying out new places, especially ones that offer good value. Hotel Ariston exceeded my expectations: it’s clean, well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The beds were super comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was a basic buffet, but honestly, it was more than enough for the price point—simple but satisfying. I appreciated how welcoming and helpful everyone at reception was. Location-wise, it’s convenient for getting around—close to the beach and downtown, with easy access to public transit. Overall, a great find for budget-conscious travelers who don’t want to compromise on comfort or service. I’d definitely stay here again.
