This was definitely the most luxurious stay of my entire trip. I booked a triple room, and honestly, it would’ve been even better if they’d opened the connecting doors between two adjacent king rooms to create a suite—though the standard room size isn’t huge, it’s well laid out and surprisingly comfortable. From arrival, I was greeted with complimentary champagne and a handwritten welcome note—such a thoughtful touch. The bath amenities were from Acqua di Parma, which added that extra bit of elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the towels thick and soft, and the mini-bar offered a great variety of snacks and drinks. Daily free bottled water and sparkling water kept me hydrated throughout the day. One unique thing? The hotel faces a military government building, so there are soldiers stationed outside all day—felt surprisingly secure, though it does mean the curtains can’t be fully opened during daytime due to how close the opposite building is. Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a 10-15 minute walk to Castel Sant’Angelo and Vatican City, and I loved starting my mornings with a peaceful jog along the riverbank. The only downside? Breakfast options were quite limited—each guest got one fixed set, with only small portions of fruit, yogurt, and beverages. More variety would’ve made this already excellent experience even better.

We enjoyed it every morning, and the rooftop dining area offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room itself isn’t large—typical for a central Rome hotel—but it was spotless, well-maintained, and cleaned twice daily. Even small details like neatly coiled charging cables showed attention to detail. Best of all? Its location is unbeatable.
