Hotel HD Palace Taipei
I booked this hotel just two weeks before my trip, and I was incredibly lucky to get a room with a view of Taipei 101—what an unexpected bonus! The location is fantastic; it's only a short metro ride to Taipei Station and surrounded by great restaurants and local spots. The owner was so welcoming and helpful—she even gave me tips on nearby attractions and offered a small gift upon check-in. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a peaceful night’s sleep. Everything about the stay felt personal and thoughtfully done. For the price, the value is outstanding. I’d absolutely book here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.
MOSHAMANLA Hotel - Main Station
I booked this hotel months in advance during peak season, only to receive an email a few days before check-in canceling my reservation. With demand at an all-time high, available rooms are now 5 to 6 times more expensive than when I originally booked. As a family with young children, we were left scrambling for last-minute accommodations and ended up completely disrupting our trip. The lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable—this experience seriously damaged our travel plans and left us feeling very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

This is my fourth stay here, and I’m still thoroughly impressed! I originally booked a room without a bathtub, but the hotel kindly upgraded me to a tub room—such a pleasant surprise! The location is unbeatable—right next to the metro station, with tons of nearby attractions and great dining options. Every time I visit Taipei, this is my go-to choice. The staff are always friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the overall experience feels like home. It’s clear they care about guest comfort and quality. I can’t recommend this place enough—perfect for both business and leisure travelers!

For travelers looking for a clean, central base with a touch of contemporary design, this place offers solid value. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

I must give a special shout-out to the front desk staff who worked the afternoon shift on October 10th around 3 PM. She was incredibly friendly, spoke fluent English, and made me feel welcome as a foreign guest. Her warm attitude truly enhanced the experience. For the price, this hotel offers outstanding value. I’ve stayed at many hotels before, but this one definitely stands out—I’ll be coming back again without hesitation!
