Because of how wonderful the stay was, my entire Chengdu visit became more enjoyable and memorable. I’ll definitely be returning next time I come to the city. And the executive lounge? Absolutely worth a visit—when I came back late from the Panda Research Base, it was the perfect spot to unwind with a wide variety of delicious snacks and drinks, served with great attention. Staying at Minshan Hotel in Chengdu was a delightful experience overall. This established, near-five-star property offers spacious rooms with a classic, slightly vintage vibe—think old-school official-style furnishings—but everything is well-maintained and shows no signs of wear. Cleanliness is outstanding; you can tell the staff takes pride in their work. As someone who’s particular about bedding, I was genuinely impressed by the mattress and pillows: soft yet supportive, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring the city. The bathroom features a built-in dryer—a small but incredibly convenient touch worth highlighting. The only minor downside? The bathtub takes up quite a bit of space, making the room feel a bit tighter than it could be. Still, considering the comfort, cleanliness, and excellent location, this hotel delivers strong value for money. If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable stay in Chengdu without breaking the bank, I’d highly recommend giving Minshan Hotel a try.
