La Woods Hotel
I stayed at La Woods Hotel in Chennai and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean and neatly arranged—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Check-in and check-out were quick and seamless, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service. The on-site restaurant and bar are a real highlight—the food is exceptional and definitely worth trying if you're here. I also booked a car through the platform to the airport, and the driver was punctual, professional, and very polite. He knew the route well and made the journey stress-free. From the ambiance to the hospitality, this hotel truly stands out. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chennai.

The front desk team, especially Pinky and her colleagues, were warm, professional, and always ready to help. I also want to give a special mention to Ramanathan, the doorman—he greeted us with a genuine smile every time, making us feel welcome right from the moment we arrived. The dining experience was another highlight: the food was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, and the restaurant staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Housekeeping was consistently excellent—every detail was taken care of. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable stays I’ve had in Chennai. It’s clear the team here genuinely cares about guest satisfaction. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-run hotel with top-notch hospitality, The Belstead is an outstanding choice—I’d highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

Ibis Chennai City Centre
Staying at Ibis Chennai City Centre was a fantastic experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the metro station and surrounded by great restaurants and local shops. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the bed was super comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. But the highlight was definitely the breakfast buffet—huge variety with both local Indian dishes and international options. Everything was fresh, especially the hot items, and the coffee and jams were top quality. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and value. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Chennai and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
FabHotel The Park Royal
This hotel is far below any standard and absolutely not worth even one star. Despite being marketed as a 3-star property, the reality is shocking—this is misleading at best. The staff was extremely rude, dismissive, and arrogant; every request felt like an inconvenience to them. There’s no service bell or intercom in the room, so we had to walk down to the front desk for anything we needed—very frustrating. The elevator shuts down at 11 PM and doesn’t reopen until morning, making late-night access impossible. No bottled water provided, and both the AC and TV were non-functional during our stay. The bathroom was filthy—the toilet seat was broken, and the shower jet didn’t work. We even found cockroaches in the room. The bed sheets were visibly dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor. Basic toiletries like soap and towels weren’t provided, and after repeatedly asking, we were handed used and stained towels. When we finally spoke to the manager, he responded with hostility instead of concern. For ₹2000 per night, this was an incredibly disappointing and unpleasant experience. Please, don’t book here—even if it's the cheapest option available. You’ll regret it.
