The Peninsula Tokyo

Staying at The Peninsula Tokyo was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Ginza, with easy access to both JR and subway lines, making exploring the city effortless. The hotel’s design stays true to the Peninsula’s signature elegance: timeless, sophisticated, and quietly luxurious. While some areas show signs of age and could benefit from a refresh, the service remains consistently exceptional—attentive, discreet, and genuinely warm. I especially loved the bath amenities; the shower gel had a subtle, refreshing scent that made every moment in the bathroom feel like a little retreat. It’s clear this place still values the details that make a stay memorable. For anyone seeking a refined urban escape in Tokyo, this is a top-tier choice.

Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower

Staying at Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, with multiple subway lines just a short walk away—making it easy to explore Tokyo’s main attractions. Check-in was smooth and efficient, located on the 5th floor. The garden on the 4th floor offers a peaceful retreat amidst the city bustle, perfect for a quiet moment. Breakfast options were varied and delicious, standing out as some of the best I’ve had in Japan—especially the restaurant on the upper floors where you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Fuji while dining. The room’s soundproofing is excellent; I slept peacefully without any outside noise. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, comfort, and stunning views. Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills- A Concept by Hyatt

I’ve been eager to experience this hotel ever since I heard it was designed by the renowned architect Yung Tang Chiu. From the moment I stepped in, the elegant ambiance of dark wood finishes in both the lobby and rooms exceeded my expectations. The layout is thoughtfully designed—front desk, concierge, and lounge areas are clearly separated yet feel cohesive, creating a sense of privacy without feeling isolated. The room itself is spacious, with the chair and bed perfectly positioned to face the panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Waking up to that vista felt like a gift. And the breakfast? The salmon roe was incredibly fresh—perfectly paired with rice, adding a luxurious touch to the morning. Every detail feels intentional, from the design to the service. This place isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with exceptional style.

Hotel New Otani Tokyo the Main

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring Tokyo. The Shin Edo baths were a highlight; soaking in the warm waters felt like a true escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Breakfast was served in a serene garden setting overlooking a small waterfall—such a peaceful and refreshing way to start the day. The location is fantastic too, just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to get around the city. We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much, and the staff were incredibly accommodating—they happily let us keep the same room without any hassle. Their friendly and professional service made all the difference. The Tokyo Edition, Ginza

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Ginza, steps away from shopping and dining. I and Xiang’s ice cream shop is literally right downstairs, perfect for a sweet treat without leaving the building. Compared to staying at the Aman, this was far more convenient. The hotel isn’t huge—nothing like the larger Edition properties back home—but in Tokyo, it’s excellent. What really stands out is the service: every time you walk in or out, staff greet you by name with genuine warmth. It’s so friendly, you almost feel like you’re being welcomed home. The room itself is spacious, clean, and well-designed, with incredibly comfortable bedding. The pillows are exactly my type—just firm enough to support, yet soft enough to dream on. Overall, an outstanding stay that exceeded expectations.

Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo

Staying at Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Ginza, surrounded by luxury boutiques, high-end dining, and just steps away from subway lines heading to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Asakusa. While the rooms are on the smaller side (which you expect in central Tokyo), the design is sleek and efficient, making the most of every inch. The atmosphere is modern yet warm, with thoughtful touches that make it feel more like a stylish urban retreat than a standard hotel. Breakfast was simple but well-executed—fresh pastries, local coffee, and a good selection of Japanese-style dishes. It’s not as extensive as some international chains, but perfectly adequate for a city stay. If you value convenience, ambiance, and being right in the middle of everything, this hotel delivers. Highly recommended for travelers who want a premium experience without overspending.

Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo

Staying at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo was an absolute delight from start to finish. While the entrance isn’t immediately obvious—our taxi drivers had to double-check twice—the staff made up for it with warm, attentive service the moment we stepped inside. We pre-booked two restaurants in the hotel, and they even provided elegant dining invitations—a lovely personal touch. The sushi experience at HOSEKI was exceptional, with a high-end omakase that showcased pristine ingredients and masterful craftsmanship. The Italian restaurant offered a romantic atmosphere perfect for couples, with dishes that were as visually stunning as they were delicious. The real surprise? The rooftop bar, located on the top floor with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Only guests are allowed in the outdoor section—just mention your room number and you’ll be guided to a prime spot overlooking the city lights. It was the perfect way to unwind with a cocktail under the stars. Special thanks to Lily, our friendly Chinese-speaking area supervisor—her professionalism and genuine hospitality made all the difference. Breakfast options included in-room or dining room service, and each day came with fresh fruit, welcome treats, and evening herbal tea for relaxation. The mini-bar featured non-Bvlgari branded drinks that were completely free—no hidden fees. For dessert lovers, this place is heaven: the cakes and chocolates at the lobby counter are simply irresistible. And leaving the hotel, we received a commemorative Bvlgari luggage tag—such a sweet final gesture. Every detail felt intentional, luxurious, and thoughtful. This isn’t just a stay—it’s a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Hotel Monday Premium Toyosu

Stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the experience! The hotel is conveniently located near Toyosu Station, with a shuttle bus available—though timing is limited, so it's best to plan ahead. Finding the entrance took a bit of effort, but once inside, everything felt smooth and welcoming. Right across from the hotel is a large supermarket—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials without leaving the area. The highlight? The shared bathhouse on-site—relaxing in a warm soak after a long day was pure bliss. The room itself was clean, modern, and well-designed with thoughtful touches throughout. Great value for the price, and I’d definitely stay here again if visiting Tokyo.

The area is quiet and peaceful, making it a great retreat after a long day exploring the city. If you're traveling with heavy luggage, be sure to enter through Exit 2 at Aoyama Icho-machi Station—it has an elevator. For light bags, Exit 4 is closer and more direct. The on-site parking lot conveniently includes both LUUP and Docomo Bike Share rental and return spots, with plenty of available spaces—no need to worry about finding a bike. As a guest, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast for international travelers: fresh, delicious, and varied, with everything from Japanese-style sets to Western pastries and fresh juice. It’s truly a highlight of the stay. There’s also free mineral water available in the lobby—small touches like this really show how thoughtful the staff are.
