She escorted us straight to our room after check-in and even left fresh fruit and a mini bar—such thoughtful touches! The hotel is literally steps from the beach, making it incredibly convenient, though being in the city center means rooms aren’t huge. That said, the location more than makes up for it. On New Year’s Eve, the ground floor was packed with live music and dancing—super lively! But if you’re traveling with kids, I’d suggest avoiding sea-view rooms since it can get noisy. Rooms facing the opposite side are much quieter. Jasmine stayed on top of things throughout our stay—she mentioned she’d contact the manager to speak with nearby beach vendors if the noise became an issue, which showed how genuinely attentive she was. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the Luoma Hainan rice noodles—everyone in our group agreed it was delicious. We made a beeline for that spot every morning. On arrival day, there was a free sugar cane candy event in the lobby, and Jasmine even sent us photos taken by the in-house photographer. One highlight we absolutely couldn’t miss was the hotel’s “Papai Box” photo experience. We booked in advance, and the photographer at the 9th-floor infinity pool was fantastic. There was also a cute photo booth area near the entrance where guests could try on traditional Hanfu or Tang-style outfits — great fun for families and Instagram lovers alike. Free shuttle service to Dadaohai Beach is available, but it’s just a 5-minute walk too — super convenient. Right across from the lobby is Da Boluo Mall, and don’t miss the must-try Zuo Po Chou hotpot on the 3rd floor — spicy, sour, and unforgettable.
