The PuXuan Hotel and Spa

Staying at The PuXuan Hotel and Spa in Beijing was a delightful experience overall. The room size was just right—not too cramped, not overly spacious—and being just steps from the metro made getting around the city incredibly convenient. The twin beds were slightly smaller than expected, but the mattress was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the eggs—perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and soft center. However, the wonton soup could use more depth in flavor. Adding some rice noodles or vermicelli dishes, maybe even a spicy beef noodle option, would be a great addition to the menu. Despite minor room for improvement, the hospitality, location, and value for money made this stay truly memorable. I’d definitely come back here on my next trip to Beijing!

I was thrilled to book a Comfort Room again—so happy! While the hotel isn’t brand new and some facilities show their age, everything is well-maintained and functional. Cleanliness stands out—every corner is spotless, which made me feel completely at ease. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: right in the heart of Xidan, with shopping, dining, and subway access just steps away. During the holiday season, the hotel was beautifully decorated with festive vibes—warm, cheerful, and full of spirit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and even accommodated my late checkout without any hassle. This is hands down my go-to choice for business trips. Convenient, reliable, and consistently great service. I’ll definitely be back.

Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel - Marriott International

Staying at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel was an absolute highlight of our trip. Located right in the heart of Beijing, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk to Wangfujing shopping street and major attractions like the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and featured all the amenities we needed. The view of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Mountain was simply unforgettable. We especially loved the New Year’s Eve atmosphere in the lobby—warm, festive, and beautifully decorated. The Executive Lounge perks were top-notch: great happy hour dinner, delicious breakfast, and a cozy space to unwind. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout—special thanks to Cecilia at check-in and Peter at checkout for their exceptional service. We’ve made this hotel our go-to spot for annual New Year gatherings with friends, and it never disappoints. One small suggestion: the bathroom toilet on the executive floor isn’t smart, so no heated seat or bidet function—this could be improved, especially during colder months. Also, only two bottles of water provided in the room are a bit minimal; while you can request more or grab some from the lounge, having them delivered directly would be more convenient. Still, these minor points don’t take away from the overall excellent experience. This place truly delivers luxury, comfort, and hospitality—highly recommended!

My stay at Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The package I booked included breakfast for one guest and complimentary parking—such a thoughtful touch, especially for those driving in. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent lighting and top-quality bedding that made for a truly restful night. Breakfast was well-rounded, offering a great mix of international and local options—perfect for starting the day right. Located in a prime area, the hotel is just steps away from multiple subway lines, making it super convenient to explore the city. But what really stood out was the service from front desk agent Xiao Yin. She went above and beyond to assist me with my needs, always with a warm smile and genuine care. It’s rare to find staff who make you feel not just welcomed, but genuinely valued. Her professionalism and kindness turned what could’ve been just a regular hotel stay into something memorable. Empark Prime Hotel Wangfujing

This was my second visit to Beijing and I was delighted to be placed in the same floor as my previous stay—this time in a quiet, well-separated room with stunning views of the China Tower skyline. The location is unbeatable: walking distance to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Wangfujing shopping district, while nearby Longfu Temple Market offers great dining options. On-site amenities are efficient, and the restaurant consistently delivers quality meals. That said, cleanliness this time didn’t quite match up to last year’s standard—hope they’ll take note and improve. Overall, it's still a top-tier choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a central base in Beijing.

Beijing Qianmen Qiuguo S1918 Hotel

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish. The courtyard-style layout gives it a unique charm—calm, cozy, and a nice break from the bustling city outside. The room was well-equipped with a smart toilet and all the essentials you’d expect from a modern hotel. I appreciated having access to an on-site laundry facility and fitness equipment—very convenient for longer stays. Cleanliness was top-notch; the room was spotless upon arrival and maintained throughout my visit. The location isn’t super visible from the street, but the navigation is straightforward and clear. Inside, the ambiance is peaceful and thoughtfully designed. And the front desk staff? Absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Their warm hospitality made a big difference. This place offers excellent value and a truly memorable stay. I’ll definitely be back when I visit Beijing again.

Guidu Hotel Beijing

Staying at Guidu Hotel Beijing was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—within walking distance to the Forbidden City, Qianmen, and Tiananmen Square. If it weren’t for the kids, I’d have even tried biking around using shared scooters. The hotel is just a short walk from Cai Shi Kou Metro Station, and it’s only two stops to the South Railway Station—perfect for travelers on a tight schedule. The staff truly went above and beyond. During our four-night stay, housekeeping came by daily with fresh towels and clean supplies. They even noticed our clothes piled up and left laundry detergent—such a thoughtful touch. On Mid-Autumn Festival evening, we returned to our room to find mooncakes waiting for us—so sweet and unexpected! This small gesture made the whole trip feel special. I’ll definitely come back to Beijing and choose Guidu Hotel again. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family—truly a gem in the heart of Beijing.

Xana Hotelle Hotel (Beijing Tiananmen Square Qianmen Pedestrian Street)

Staying at Xana Hotel near Tiananmen Square and Qianmen Pedestrian Street was an absolute delight. The hotel feels brand new—clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with a quiet elegance. Check-in was quick and smooth thanks to the friendly and efficient front desk staff, especially Xiao X, who made us feel welcome right away. The room was spacious and bright, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom is well-designed with a clear dry/wet separation, and all toiletries were neatly stocked—no need to bring your own. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to major landmarks like Tiananmen Square and Qianmen, yet surrounded by peaceful streets. It's perfectly balanced between convenience and tranquility. Every little detail shows care—from the lighting to the minibar selection. For the price, the value is outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next business trip to Beijing. Highly recommended!
