We visited Guangzhou for the anime convention with our son, and staying at Langham Place Guangzhou was an absolute highlight. I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.

I also appreciated how easy it was to get to Pazhou Convention Centre via metro—just a few minutes away. Overall, this place offers great value, comfort, and convenience. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the metro station, making it super convenient to get to the airport, Pazhou Convention Centre, and Canton Tower—all accessible via direct subway lines. The room faces the street, but surprisingly, noise isn’t an issue; even at night, the hallway is quiet and peaceful. While the hotel has been around for a while, everything feels well-maintained—cleanliness, amenities, and overall upkeep are solid. As part of a trusted chain, it gives me peace of mind. Great value for money, and definitely worth recommending if you're visiting Guangzhou for events or business.
