Fish Hotel -Kaohsiung
We stayed in a room with two twin beds, and the experience was excellent. The hotel is just a short walk from the train station—super convenient for getting around without needing to rely on taxis or public transport. The breakfast was satisfying, offering a good variety of hot and local-style options. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value for money. I’d definitely book here again if I ever return to Kaohsiung. Highly recommend!

While the exit only has an upward escalator and no downward one, staff at the station are helpful and can direct guests—especially elderly or mobility-impaired travelers—to more convenient entrances. The area around the hotel is well-connected with a nearby Walmart and several dining options, making daily errands and meals super convenient. Even though there's an automated check-in kiosk, the front desk team remains warm and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile—feeling truly at home. The room itself is modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed; my twin-bed room featured a separate shower and toilet area, which adds comfort and privacy. Breakfast at the counter was a highlight—plenty of variety in both food and drinks, satisfying all tastes. I booked through the platform’s early-bird member rate, and it felt like a fantastic deal. Staying at Hub Hotel - Kaohsiung Qixian Branch was a fantastic experience overall. While it's a bit of a 10-minute walk from the nearest MRT station, the location is still very convenient—everything from Liujiang Tea, Haojing Night Market, Kaohsiung Railway Station, Bujizhiguo, to Pier-2 Art District is within a 30-minute radius. The hotel has a large Pau Ya Pharmacy right on the ground floor, making shopping super easy. Inside, the rooms have been recently renovated—spotless, modern, and well-maintained. The shower pressure is excellent, making for a really relaxing rinse. I especially appreciated the 24-hour shared lounge on the first floor, which offers free snacks, ice cream, and drinks—perfect for a late-night treat or a quick refresh. Housekeeping was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and attentive. This place offers great value, and I’d definitely come back.
