We spent ten wonderful days in Lisbon during Chinese New Year at HF FÉNIX LISBOA, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Eduardo VII Park, and walking in the opposite direction leads you straight to the upscale shopping street, with easy access to the cathedral, Praça do Comércio, and the Arco da Rua Augusta. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, and the breakfast spread was exceptional—spacious, beautifully set up, and full of variety. We stayed ten days and still couldn’t get enough! Having visited Lisbon four times before, we’ve tried other nearby hotels, but none compare to HF FÉNIX in terms of comfort, service, and charm. What made this stay extra special? I ran into Nelson, a familiar face who used to work at the hotel during our previous visit—seven years later, seeing him again brought tears to my eyes. It felt like reuniting with an old friend. If we ever return to Lisbon, HF FÉNIX will be our first choice. Can’t wait to see Nelson again!
Casa do Mercado Lisboa
Staying at this charming little guesthouse in Lisbon was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by great cafes, shops, and restaurants. The room was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with a super comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always going the extra mile to make guests feel at home. One thing to note: the walls between rooms are quite thin, so you can hear footsteps clearly—though this didn’t bother me much since the street outside was completely quiet. I also appreciated that they offered a gluten-free breakfast upon request—super thoughtful for those with dietary needs. Overall, it’s a hidden gem with excellent value, warm hospitality, and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Turim Europa Hotel
My stay at Turim Europa Hotel was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The warm welcome began with the bell staff, and the front desk team—especially Clara and her colleagues—went above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service. The bar staff and housekeeping crew were equally professional and courteous. The hotel is perfectly located near a wide variety of restaurants, and I highly recommend trying Cardo Restaurant for authentic Portuguese flavors and drinks—excellent food and top-notch service. Just a 5-minute walk to Parque Metro Station (Blue Line), which connects to major attractions and other transit lines, making exploration around Lisbon super convenient. It’s also less than 5 minutes to the Pink Line if you’re heading to the airport—very practical. Thanks to the platform for offering such a great selection of accommodations; it made my Lisbon trip memorable and stress-free.

Perfectly located just steps from the heart of Lisbon, yet tucked away in a quiet side street—ideal for a peaceful stay without sacrificing convenience. We stayed for four nights and were genuinely impressed by the warm, attentive staff who went out of their way to recommend local restaurants, day trips, and hidden gems around the city. Breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and well-prepared, easily one of the best we’ve had on our travels. The whole experience felt personal and thoughtful, making this hotel stand out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, charm, and great service in a prime location.

I especially appreciated the complimentary parking, which made my trip stress-free, especially since I was driving. The breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, offering a great start to each day. Everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lisbon who values cleanliness, hospitality, and a prime location.
Legendary Lisboa Suites
The service here was absolutely outstanding—special shoutout to Lilia and Fatima at reception. Lilia, in particular, went above and beyond when we accidentally locked our car keys in the trunk while parked in the hotel’s garage (we rented the car in Spain, so this was a real panic moment!). We were completely stuck until Lilia stepped in, calmly coordinating roadside assistance and guiding us through every step. Her kindness and dedication made all the difference. The apartment itself is fantastic—modern, well-equipped kitchen, and the terrace view is unbeatable. Sipping a drink out there under the stars? Pure bliss. Free parking is such a bonus, especially with convenient supermarkets just steps away for grocery runs. And the breakfast buffet? Rich in variety, fresh, and delicious. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Olissippo Saldanha for two nights and were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The room was quiet and well-insulated, with remote-controlled blinds that made it easy to adjust the lighting—perfect for catching a good night’s sleep or enjoying some morning sun. The bathroom was spacious and modern, featuring a generous shower area that felt luxurious. All towels and bedding were crisp and clean, showing attention to detail in housekeeping. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and spoke multiple languages fluently—definitely added to the welcoming vibe. The bed was large and comfortable, though the mattress leaned toward the firmer side, which might not suit everyone. Breakfast was decent but not outstanding—some bacon was undercooked, and certain fruits were canned rather than fresh. That said, the coffee machine delivered a solid espresso-style brew, which was a bright spot. Overall, the hotel offers great value, especially considering its central location and high standard of service. Would definitely return.

Staying at Turim Lisboa Hotel was a great experience for the price. As a budget-friendly option, the room felt fresh and clean after recent renovations. There was a slight renovation odor when we first arrived, but airing it out with the AC the next day completely eliminated any smell. The location is excellent—just a 2-3 minute walk to a small supermarket for essentials, and a 6-7 minute stroll to the large British Palace shopping mall, where you can find everything from dining to retail. Public transport is also within easy reach, making it simple to get around Lisbon. It’s ideal for travelers who want convenience without overspending. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, and smart value in a central spot.

The bathroom in the room is spacious and spotlessly clean. While there were no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers provided, the air conditioning and elevator work perfectly. Breakfast comes at a reasonable price—similar to what you’d pay for a main meal and a coffee at a local café—but here, it’s a buffet with fresh fruit, pastries, and more, offering much better value. Overall, the location, service, and thoughtful touches make this hotel a standout choice. Highly recommend for travelers who want convenience without compromising on comfort.
