Manuel Guzman, our butler, was absolutely top-tier—professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Henry was equally impressive, and the entire team at the C Pool Bar—Maxima, Angelina, Eric, and Santos—were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed without ever having to ask. The grounds are immaculate, the dining options consistently excellent, and the property itself is breathtakingly elegant. The adults-only section was especially serene and luxurious. My stay at Hotel Shivalika in Jaipur was a mixed experience. The location is convenient, just a short metro ride from the city center, and the room was clean and well-maintained. However, I was disappointed that there was no tea service available during my entire visit—no tea bags, no hot water, nothing. As someone who relies on a warm cup of tea to start the day, this was a real letdown. It’s a basic amenity that many hotels offer, especially in India where tea culture is strong. Adding simple tea or coffee options would greatly enhance guest comfort. While the price point is reasonable for a short stay, I wouldn’t recommend it over other options unless you’re looking for something very budget-friendly with minimal extras.
