I stayed at Lotus Art & Garden Hotel-Dago in Bandung and must say the experience was extremely disappointing. I booked a family luxury room, but the conditions were far from satisfactory. The room was infested with ants and large cockroaches, and I could clearly hear scratching sounds from the ceiling—likely rats—throughout the night, which made it very hard to relax. The bathroom had a strong sewage-like odor even before use, and there was visible mold growing around the toilet area. Opening the cabinet revealed it was filthy and poorly maintained. The bed sheets had noticeable stains, and the mattress didn’t smell fresh at all. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy, and the remote control didn’t work properly—it couldn’t turn off the unit, leaving me stuck with constant noise. Dust also accumulated around the vents. Overall, cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort were severely lacking. I’m truly upset about this stay and wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone.

The location is convenient with easy access to the city center via metro, but cleanliness really needs improvement. The carpet was extremely dirty with visible hair and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks—dust was also visible in the corners of the room. Even more disappointing was that no bottled water was provided, which meant we had to buy our own. The tableware was greasy and appeared not thoroughly washed, making us uneasy about hygiene. It’s a shame because the overall value is decent, but without proper cleaning—especially in small details—the guest experience suffers significantly. Hope the management can prioritize cleanliness for future stays.
