Staying at Metro Aspire Hotel Sydney was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Chinatown, and George Street right outside has the L-line metro that connects you to all parts of the city—super convenient. It’s also only a 15-minute walk to Central Station, making commutes easy. If you’re heading to the airport, T8 is available right here, so no need for transfers or extra hassle. The hotel is incredibly close to the University of Technology Sydney—almost feels like you're staying on campus with its quiet, academic vibe. What really stood out was the front desk staff: they kindly unfolded the sofa bed and made it up for us, giving us extra space and comfort. Small gesture, big difference. This place offers excellent value, great location, and thoughtful service. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Sydney.

The only minor downside is the parking cost, which can be quite high if you're not careful—make sure you don't accidentally enter Wilson Parking, as rates there can add up quickly. Overall, the experience was excellent, and with such a prime location and great amenities, the value still shines through. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Sydney.

Perfect for a family getaway! We stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite that comfortably accommodated our family of four. The room was incredibly well-equipped—washing machine and dryer combo, ample closet space with plenty of hangers, a full kitchen including oven, microwave, complete cookware (pots, pans, utensils, cutting boards), and even a dishwasher. They even stocked vitamin C supplements—such a thoughtful touch for families. The lobby area is fantastic too: board games, coffee machine, and tea service make it a great spot for kids to relax while parents unwind. Location-wise, everything we needed was within walking distance—just 1.1 km to St. Mary’s Cathedral, Hyde Park, and the Australian Museum. A supermarket is about 800 meters away, perfect for grabbing fresh fruit or snacks. And during Christmas, they surprised us with candy and festive socks—so sweet and memorable! If we ever return to Sydney, this will be our top choice again.

Ibis Budget St Peters
I chose a ground-floor room because I wanted air conditioning, but the space was quite compact and the view from the curtains just showed the parking lot—definitely not ideal. This is the first Ibis Budget property I’ve stayed at where the experience felt underwhelming. The toilet didn’t have a lid, the shower area lacked proper ventilation so it stayed damp after use, and water pressure was extremely low—taking a shower felt like waiting for a trickle. Also, the bathroom faucet made an annoying high-pitched noise as soon as it was turned on. While the location is convenient for public transport, these issues really dragged down the overall value. It’s disappointing for a brand that usually offers solid basics. Not something I’d book again without significant improvements.

The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help. One thing to note: bottled water isn’t automatically provided, so remember to ask for it daily. Also, like many international hotels, toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste aren’t included—bring your own. Overall, this place offers a premium experience with excellent value. It’s clear the attention to detail goes beyond just comfort—it’s about creating a memorable stay. I’d definitely book here again without hesitation.
