The next day’s airport transfer was excellent too; driver Andy was friendly, courteous, and helped carry my luggage without being asked. We had a pleasant chat throughout the ride. A few suggestions for improvement: the afternoon tea selection was limited, and the fruit—especially the watermelon—wasn’t very fresh. Dinner options were also quite narrow. The room stayed chilly despite running the heater all night—temperature barely reached 15°C, so adding a heating option would be helpful. Also, breakfast was missing some items, and they weren’t replenished promptly. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The staff responded quickly to feedback, and the views from the room were stunning—especially sunrise in the morning. One small disappointment: no capsule or instant coffee available, which is common even in budget hotels. Adding that would make the stay much more convenient for guests who rely on coffee.

One highlight was the kids’ play area on the 4th floor. We called ahead, and within just one minute, someone opened the door. Even though it was just us, the concierge manager Andy Yang personally stayed with our child, playing games and keeping him entertained—our little one had a blast. When we were leaving, Andy walked us all the way to the car, reminded the kid to dress warmly, and made sure he wouldn’t catch a cold. That level of care truly touched us. From start to finish, every detail felt personal and warm. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. I’ll definitely come back here next time I visit Xiamen.

On departure day, we had a late afternoon flight, and I asked if we could extend checkout time. Front desk staff Xiao Huang saw we were traveling with an elder and kindly extended our check-out to 1:30 PM—so appreciative! This hotel offers great value, excellent service, and genuine care. From check-in to the elevator, staff warmly greeted us and helped carry our luggage with genuine kindness. The room, while windowless, was immaculately clean, fully stocked with quality amenities, and there were no hidden fees—just pure value. On our second morning, when we returned, we noticed the housekeeping team had seen our toothbrush left on the table. They quietly brought a disposable cup and left a sweet handwritten note—such a small gesture, but it genuinely touched me. As introverts, we don’t often expect personal attention, so this thoughtful touch made our stay feel extra special. Plus, the hotel’s breakfast buffet is a real gem—only $89 per person—and features a wide variety of local snacks from the nearby Zhongshan Road area.
