I've been a repeat guest at this property for the past five years, and I continue to be impressed with my stays at Pan Asia Continental. The hotel is perfectly located on a main road, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The atmosphere is welcoming, and every staff member I’ve interacted with has been exceptionally courteous—especially the front desk team, Ms. Rudrrani and Ms. Philomina, who consistently go above and beyond. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and stylish retreat. My only small suggestion would be to install a handheld showerhead in the bathroom for added convenience during bathing. Despite that minor detail, the overall experience remains outstanding. With its prime location, excellent service, and consistent quality, this hotel continues to be my top choice in Kolkata.
Hotel Pushpak International
Staying at Hotel Pushpak International in Kolkata was a mixed experience. The room itself was quite old and lacked an elevator, which made carrying luggage up to the upper floors very inconvenient. The cleanliness was also disappointing—there were visible stains on the bed sheets and a faint musty smell in the bathroom, which took away from the overall comfort. While the location is fairly central and it's just a short metro ride into the city center, the lack of basic amenities and poor maintenance brings down the value for money. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you're looking for a budget option with minimal expectations. It’s clear that improvements in hygiene, upkeep, and guest convenience are needed to raise the standard.

I was really impressed with my stay at The Stadel overall—everything exceeded my expectations. The only minor quirk was the pool schedule, which runs until 9:00 PM and then reopens at 6:00 PM, leaving a gap in between—slightly confusing but not a dealbreaker. Also, towels in the pool area are charged, which I found a bit surprising, though it’s a small thing. That said, these didn’t detract from the excellent experience at all. The staff truly made the difference—special thanks to the front desk team, especially Sony, the bar staff at the Egyptian Bar, the manager, and the restaurant waitstaff. Everyone was warm, professional, and attentive. The ambiance is elegant, the location is convenient, and the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues—and I’m already planning to come back myself.

The morning front desk manager was incredibly rude when I tried to pay with a credit card—he outright refused and told me to use cash or Google Pay, with no explanation or courtesy. That alone set a negative tone. The food was terrible—after eating, I suffered from severe diarrhea, which clearly indicates poor hygiene standards. Room service was equally awful; I ordered items multiple times but never received them on time, if at all. The overall experience was far below what you’d expect for the price, especially since there are better options available at the same rate. If you’re considering this hotel, take a moment to check the manager’s photo—his attitude is a red flag. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have no other choice.

The hotel is completely unlivable and bears no resemblance to the photos. It's located right next to a train station, where the first train arrives at 3:45 AM with loud horns and whistles that startle you awake. The last train departs at 12:30 AM, meaning constant noise throughout the night. The room itself is outdated, poorly maintained, and lacks basic comfort. The entire experience was extremely disappointing—definitely not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here for any reason.

Water provided was only RO-filtered water in open, unsealed bottles—no mineral water or sealed options available, which made me hesitant to drink it. Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations. Despite a decent bed, the cramped space, poor service, constant noise, and hygiene concerns make this a tough recommendation. Not worth staying unless you're on a very tight budget.
