We drove in and had to provide our license plate number to the front desk in advance—security at the gate would only let us through after confirmation. The hotel is located within a campus, so it’s incredibly quiet, especially at night, making for a peaceful stay. The front desk staff were super friendly—they even offered us complimentary breakfast for all three rooms! It was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. After breakfast, we took the back door from the hotel straight into Xiamen Botanical Garden. Since we arrived before 7:30 a.m., entry was free—no ticket needed. We spent a lovely morning exploring the garden, then walked back via the west gate of the botanical garden, which was just a short stroll from the hotel. Following the front desk’s advice, we avoided the hassle of parking in Zhongshan Road and took the metro instead—only two stops from the hotel, easy access to the area. We strolled all the way to Baishi Seafood Market, where we picked up some local treats like Huangyuan Tang and Yilan Pastries—perfect souvenirs! To get back, we hailed a taxi, which took about 7–8 minutes. Everything was convenient, well-planned, and thoughtfully arranged. This place truly delivers on comfort, location, and value. A top-tier experience that I’d definitely return to.

Check-in was quick and smooth, the room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained—plus, the price was very reasonable for what you get. I especially appreciated that parking was free, which made the stay even more convenient. The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from the One Country Two Systems Beach, and taking a bus from the front door gets you to Xiamen University in no time—bus fare is only one yuan, super affordable. The room was quiet since it doesn’t face the main road, and the soundproofing is excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond—they even proactively upgraded us to a larger room without any extra charge. The neighborhood is fantastic: right next to a school, and within 500 meters, there’s a lively local food street with everything from convenience stores and pharmacies to fresh street food, bubble tea shops, and restaurants. If we didn’t feel like going out, we could easily order delivery straight to our door. Overall, this was a top-tier experience—great value, excellent service, and unbeatable location. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Xiamen.

The room quality rivals that of established luxury options like Lujing Hotel, but at a fraction of the price. My first visit? I originally booked another hotel nearby, but when I arrived and saw the worn-out exterior, I immediately canceled. Later, I passed by this property and noticed the clean, modern look, so I decided to check in. The staff were incredibly welcoming—they personally showed me through several room types, which helped ease my concerns. Their genuine hospitality made all the difference. It’s clear they care about guest comfort. Definitely coming back next time—and I’ll recommend them to anyone visiting Xiamen.

Stayed at Putian Hotel (Xiamen Mingfa Plaza) and was genuinely impressed by the outstanding value for money. The room was surprisingly spacious—far bigger than expected for the price—and everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The new front desk staff member, Yu Ni, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Even when we weren’t sure how to ask our questions, she patiently guided us through everything. Location is excellent too—just a short walk from Xiamen Railway Station and surrounded by great dining options. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Xiamen!

We stayed here as a family, and we were thoroughly impressed! The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the metro, quiet yet convenient, and surrounded by great local spots. Even though it's not brand new, the upkeep is excellent: clean rooms, well-maintained common areas, and a nice overall vibe that feels upscale for the price. We didn’t need to rely on rideshares—we could easily hail a cab right outside the door to get anywhere in town. The neighborhood is fantastic for food lovers: there’s a wide variety of eateries nearby. I especially recommend Wu Zai Tian Snack Shop—it’s a local favorite with authentic flavors. And yes, we finally got to try the famous balang (sea slug) jelly again, which was a nostalgic treat after years of missing it. If you're visiting Xiamen with kids or family, this hotel is a top pick!
