The setting itself feels like stepping into a Studio Ghibli film: quiet, poetic, and effortlessly beautiful. Walking through the garden, you’re greeted by lush green lawns, playful dogs running free, and endless views of the ocean stretching beyond the horizon—all natural, unforced, and full of soul. And then there’s the food: Auntie’s slow-cooked pig stomach lotus root soup, and the rustic charcoal-fired rice—simple yet profoundly comforting. Every bite reminded me why I love traveling. The family is genuinely kind, full of heart, and each member adds their own charm—especially the older brother trying so hard to impress (and succeeding!).
