I was assigned a room facing the street on arrival, which was quite noisy—definitely not ideal. However, the front desk kindly rearranged me to a quieter interior room, and that made a huge difference. The new room had windows that opened, allowing for fresh air and a more pleasant atmosphere. The space was generous, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well throughout my stay. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight—amazing views of the city, especially at sunset. It’s also just a 15-minute walk from a great variety of restaurants, including one Thai place that stood out for its authentic flavors and reasonable prices. Breakfast was included and surprisingly good—plenty of options, fresh ingredients, and well-prepared. While some facilities showed signs of age, they didn’t detract from the overall experience. Cleanliness, staff friendliness, and the convenient location really made up for it. I’d definitely stay here again.

Plus, being just steps away from Trader Joe’s is a game-changer for grabbing snacks, groceries, or essentials. Public transit access to downtown Seattle is super easy, and everything feels safe and well-maintained. This place offers incredible value and comfort—definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Seattle. I’ll be back without hesitation.

I chose to stay near the University of Washington because I’d heard the downtown area isn’t the safest, and honestly, this was one of my best decisions. The College Inn Hotel feels just like a college dorm from an American TV show—clean, cozy, and full of charm. The European-style decor adds a nice touch, and it’s super convenient for exploring campus and nearby spots. The only thing to note is that our luggage was quite bulky, and without an elevator, carrying it up the stairs was a bit of a challenge—definitely need some stamina!
