Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn
We stayed at Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn with my family, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. The staff at reception were incredibly warm and welcoming—always smiling and making guests feel at home. One small note: the room door seemed to have a minor issue in the morning—maybe accidentally unlocked? But it didn’t affect our stay at all. What truly stood out was the location—just a short walk from the waterfront, so no need for a car. The metro station is right outside the hotel, giving quick access to the city center in just minutes. There’s also a small convenience store and several light dining options right by the metro entrance, plus a lovely little park across the street—perfect for a morning stroll. The area feels safe, quiet, and well-connected. Overall, an excellent choice for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The stay was excellent overall—great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and the staff were very helpful. Being just a short walk from the historic sights made exploring Istanbul effortless. The only downside was the food at Mado restaurant, which felt underwhelming, and the breakfast selection, while varied, didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of quality. Still, with the strong points elsewhere, this is a solid choice for travelers who want convenience and charm in the heart of the old city.

The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to the metro station and only a 3-minute stroll to the University Tram stop, making it super convenient for exploring Istanbul. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh options. I especially loved dining on the 7th-floor restaurant, where the panoramic view of the city and the Bosphorus Strait is simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. Daily room cleaning kept everything fresh and tidy. Every detail here feels thoughtfully designed. This is definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Istanbul—excellent value and an unforgettable stay.

Wi-Fi works perfectly in the room, though it’s completely unavailable on the terrace. That said, the view from the terrace is what really steals the show: sweeping panoramic views of the Sea of Marmara. It’s breathtaking, especially at sunset. Overall, I loved every moment here.
