Staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Austin-University Area was a fantastic experience overall. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with excellent bedding that made for a restful night's sleep. The hotel’s cleanliness throughout the property—especially in common areas and hallways—was impressive. One small note: the bottled water provided in the room was a bit limited in quantity, so I ended up refilling at the lobby station. That said, it’s a minor detail. The location is perfect for exploring the University District and downtown Austin, with easy access to public transit. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed for two nights, and during our visit, we were the only guests in this intimate boutique hotel with just seven rooms. It felt quiet, personal, and truly special. I’d absolutely stay here again—the charm, comfort, and attention to detail make it stand out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish retreat in Austin.

The location is quite isolated—feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, with limited access to public transport or nearby attractions. It’s not worth the price, especially considering the lack of basic cleanliness and comfort. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent urban stay. Definitely not something I’d consider returning to.
