I was genuinely surprised by how good this La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Southwest property turned out to be—way better than my previous experiences with the brand. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern touches that made it feel more upscale than typical La Quinta stays. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Location-wise, it's super convenient—just a short walk from local restaurants and nightlife, and easily accessible via public transit. The staff were friendly and helpful, even offering assistance with luggage upon check-in. What stood out most was the overall vibe—cozy yet polished, and definitely a cut above the rest. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Austin.

A perfect family getaway! This resort is stunning and spacious, with plenty of room for kids to explore and play. The mini-golf course was a big hit, and the nightly s'mores by the firepit added such a cozy, fun touch—our kids loved it. The pools (indoor and outdoor) were great, and there’s ample space for little ones to run around without feeling cramped. One thing to note: the property has multiple levels connected by steps—sometimes two or even five steps between areas—so stroller access can be tricky if you're traveling with young kids. That said, the staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. From check-in to checkout, every interaction felt warm and seamless. Overall, an outstanding stay with top-notch service and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
