I really enjoyed my stay at Yunost Hotel! The room was clean, well-organized, and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It's conveniently located near the metro, making it easy to explore Moscow. I stayed at Chez Michel Hotel in Moscow for two nights in June 2022, and I was genuinely impressed. It’s surprising that there aren’t more reviews—especially since the average rating doesn’t quite reflect the real experience. After reading several other reviews (mostly scoring 8–10), I can confirm those are much closer to the truth. The staff were incredibly guest-focused: I booked my room with payment upon arrival, secured a guaranteed early check-in, and any personal requests were handled smoothly without issues. Objectively, the hotel shines in interior design, location, room amenities, and high-quality bedding and bathroom essentials. Noise from the street is minimal, making it a peaceful stay. On the downside, the closet shelves are out of reach for someone taller like me. The curtains aren’t blackout, which might affect sleep quality for light-sensitive guests. There’s no heated towel rail or hand towel rack—so towels had to be left on the sink ledge, which was a bit inconvenient. Most disappointing was breakfast—it wasn’t worth it at all. I’d strongly recommend grabbing breakfast at one of the many nearby cafés instead; they’re better and more convenient. While no hotel is perfect, this one exceeded my expectations overall. Despite minor flaws, the service, comfort, and value made it a truly satisfying stay.

Booking through the platform, this was definitely one of the least satisfying stays. Arriving late at night, the hotel location was extremely hard to find—no clear signage, and even after asking several people, we couldn’t spot the hotel name. Eventually, an elderly staff member came out to assist, but communication was nearly impossible due to the language barrier—she didn’t speak English at all. Once inside the room, which cost over a thousand yuan, the space looked more like a basic budget chain hotel back home: simple decor, outdated fittings, and nothing special. The only redeeming factor was the location, which is convenient for getting around. However, considering the price versus what you actually get, the value for money is seriously lacking. I’d think twice before booking here again.
