The staff here were absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room itself was cozy and spotless, making for a really relaxing stay. That said, there were a few small improvements that could be made: the bathroom could use more storage options—just one towel rack in the shower and a tiny hook on the wall, with no convenient spots near the sink for hand towels. Also, the lack of a working exhaust fan made the space feel humid and stuffy, especially after a hot day. Morning coffee service was disappointing too—it wasn’t available until well past the advertised time, and by the time we arrived at 7:00 AM, it was already gone. Still, these minor drawbacks don’t come close to overshadowing the positives. The pool area is stunning, with incredible ocean views and a peaceful, tropical vibe. Watching the sunset from the terrace was pure magic. This resort truly delivers on ambiance and comfort. We’d definitely come back again—this place has a special charm that’s hard to beat.

Just a 10-minute walk away, there's a fantastic BBQ place that’s worth every minute of the long queue—totally delicious! Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and overall, everything else was great. The only downside was that the elevator broke on our check-in day, and it took a full day to fix—so we had to climb the stairs with our luggage, which was tough, especially with heavy bags. We ended up just grabbing a change of clothes and heading up, but it was still a hassle. Still, I have to say, the way they handled the situation—though slow—was transparent and persistent. It’s not perfect, but the location, cleanliness, and comfort make up for it. Definitely a solid choice if you're visiting San Diego, and I’d stay here again.
