Arrived at The Miami Beach EDITION around 10 a.m. and was pleasantly surprised when the front desk immediately checked me in—despite the Marriott app stating check-in wasn’t available until 4 p.m. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the experience feel personal from the start. This place truly feels like a resort, with an impressive range of amenities: billiards, bowling alley, spacious pool, private beach access, and even an ice rink! Inside the room, the minimalist design stood out—clean lines, soothing ambient scent, high-end Lelabo bath products, and plush disposable slippers. For a hotel in North America, the level of comfort and attention to detail is exceptional. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious escape right on South Beach without sacrificing convenience or style, this is an outstanding choice. It’s not just a stay—it’s a vibe.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel is absolutely stunning—our stay was nothing short of perfect. We booked a partial ocean view room in the main building, originally expecting the 17th floor but were assigned the 15th, which still offered a lovely angled view of the sea from the window. The hotel has two buildings—the main one recently renovated and very modern, while the secondary wing features oceanfront rooms. After reading reviews praising the main building’s fresh design and ambiance, we were glad we chose it. The entrance is framed by palm trees, and the lobby feels grand and welcoming. A charming side path leads to the pool area, flanked by fountains that look magical at night. The pool itself isn’t huge, but it’s well laid out with rows of lounge chairs. Just step through the exit, and you’re right on the beach—so convenient! On day one, we spent hours soaking up the sun, taking photos, and playing in the waves. The hotel provides complimentary lounge chairs and towels, though umbrellas cost an extra $30—still worth it for the comfort. Later, lounging by the pool, we enjoyed live music performances and free snacks like chilled mango cubes, strawberry smoothies, and icy coconut milk—small portions, but incredibly refreshing. There’s also free ice-cold water, sunscreen, and towels available all day long. On day two, we woke up early to catch the sunrise on the beach—a breathtaking moment. But the real highlight was breakfast. At $46 per adult (kids $22), our room included two servings, and the variety and quality were outstanding. Fruits were enormous—blueberries and blackberries sweeter than anything I’ve had in the Bay Area—and every melon tasted perfectly ripe. It felt like such incredible value. Plus, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Lincoln Road, where evening strolls are delightful. If I’m ever back in Miami, this will be my go-to choice without hesitation.

Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach

The location is absolutely stunning—right on the beach with a spacious, comfortable room that feels like a retreat. They provide free loungers, towels, and water, which is such a thoughtful touch. Even though checkout is at 11 AM, you’re welcome to stay on the beach until evening, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy the sun and surf. The on-site restaurant is fantastic—diverse menu with delicious, well-prepared dishes. From breakfast to dinner, every meal felt special. It’s clear the team cares about guest experience. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. I’ll definitely be back.

The Plymouth South Beach

While not directly on the beach, the hotel is just a short walk away—perfect for those who want to enjoy Miami South Beach without being right in the middle of the crowds. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with modern bathrooms that feel fresh and inviting. Staff are friendly and attentive, making check-in and daily interactions smooth. The location is ideal—quiet enough to relax but close to restaurants, bars, and nightlife. One downside is that late-night parking isn’t available, so it’s best to plan ahead if you’re arriving after hours. Overall, this is a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a relaxed vibe in a prime area.

The Betsy Hotel, South Beach

Right on the beach, just steps away from the vibrant nightlife and bustling energy of South Beach, yet tucked into a peaceful and exclusive spot that feels truly special. The hotel exudes elegance and warmth, with exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. I’d absolutely stay here again. The price matches the quality perfectly—great value for what you get. The only small downside is the lack of late-night room service and the restaurant closing earlier than ideal, but honestly, there are dozens of great dining options nearby that stay open well past midnight. Overall, an absolutely charming and memorable experience.
