Staying at this Clérigos Views property truly felt like being in the heart of historic Porto. The building itself has that authentic local character—compact and accessed by stairs, but the renovation is outstanding. My apartment was perfectly located on a charming, traditional street full of history and atmosphere. Inside, everything was thoughtfully designed: spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, and the bedroom facing directly toward the iconic Clérigos Tower. Despite being right next to the tower and just below the tram line (with the old electric trams passing by regularly), the apartment was incredibly quiet thanks to excellent soundproofing—no noise at all. Lower-floor units only overlook the tower, but higher floors offer panoramic views of the entire historic district, making them even more special. It’s such a unique, intimate experience with great convenience and comfort. The location is unbeatable, and the attention to detail makes it feel like home. I’d absolutely stay here again.

What truly amazed us was spotting a video at the airport showing that 'Bnapartments Rio' had been selected among the top 20 architectural projects by the Portuguese Architects’ Association for its excellence in preservation and design quality. To stay in a space recognized for its craftsmanship and aesthetic integrity made the entire experience even more meaningful.
My stay at Holiday Inn Express Porto – Boavista was excellent overall. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic—just a short metro ride into the city center, making it super convenient for exploring. I’d give it a solid 10 out of 10 for value and comfort. That said, there are two small areas that could be improved. First, even though check-in is available from 3:00 PM, I arrived at 3:45 PM and still had to wait for the room to be ready—perhaps a bit more efficient turnaround between guests would help. Second, during breakfast, many tables were already empty but covered in dirty dishes, glasses, and mugs. It made it a bit frustrating to find a clean spot to sit down. Still, these are minor issues in an otherwise outstanding experience. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
