The Manor House
Staying at The Manor House in Kolkata was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The hotel’s location is ideal—close enough to the city center for easy access, yet peaceful and serene. It’s rare to find such a well-balanced blend of comfort, quality, and personalized care. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Kolkata.
Hotel Nest International
Staying at Hotel Nest International in Kolkata was an excellent experience overall. Located just a short walk from Quest Mall, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring major tourist attractions in and around the city—everything’s within easy reach whether you’re walking or hopping on a local ride. The only minor drawback was the lack of an elevator; we were on the third-floor penthouse room, which meant climbing three flights of stairs each time. That said, the room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There’s no in-house dining, but they do provide plates, cutlery, and even help with ordering food from nearby restaurants or via online delivery—so it’s easy to enjoy meals without leaving the room. With its great location, welcoming staff, and quiet atmosphere, this place offers real value for money. If you're visiting Kolkata, I’d definitely recommend staying here again.

Their home-cooked meals were delicious, flavorful, and served with such warmth it felt like dining at a friend’s place. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any photos to share, but if you’re looking for a cozy, authentic stay in Kolkata with great hospitality and a genuine local touch, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a memorable and stress-free experience.

Treebo Tryst Hotel Radiant
We recently booked four rooms at Hotel Radiant for a three-night stay with six adults, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The rooms were extremely dirty, and we were surprised to find no toilet paper provided — a basic necessity that was completely overlooked. The bathrooms were in poor condition, with visible leaks and cracked tiles, while the bed linens had noticeable tears. Despite our concerns, staff responses were slow and unhelpful. The overall service was disappointing, and the room quality didn’t match the price point. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others, especially for groups looking for cleanliness and comfort. Would not consider staying here again.
Hotel O the Jumbo Stay
Honestly, this place is clearly a budget option and definitely not what the listing claims — far from a 3-star experience. I went in with low expectations, but still ended up really disappointed. The photos online? Completely misleading. From check-in to the room, nothing matches what’s shown. Broken furniture, dusty rooms, stained linens — it’s just not clean or well-maintained. There’s no proper drawer, table, or cupboard — nothing close to the stylish furnishings in the images. Even the water bottles and phone shown in the pictures? Not here. And while Oyo’s site lists a kettle and tea set, those weren’t present either. Worst of all, no key was provided for the door — zero security. That means carrying your bags in and out every single time you leave. Thank goodness I only had a carry-on. Breakfast? Definitely not happening again. Overall, the gap between expectation and reality is huge. This isn’t worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
Hotel O Akash Ganga Park Circus
The presidential room was a major disappointment. The bed was infested with ants, the room itself was dirty, and the sheets were visibly stained. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, leaving us uncomfortably hot. The main bathroom had no running water, and there was no drinking water provided in the room—despite having paid in full upfront. The overall experience was terrible, both in terms of cleanliness and service. I wouldn’t recommend staying here under any circumstances. There are far better options in Kolkata—definitely avoid this one.
Super Collection O Motisarai
This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff were extremely unprofessional, rude, and showed no regard for guest comfort or basic hospitality. The air conditioning didn’t work at all—completely ineffective during our stay. Even more frustrating, the kitchen team was asleep until 11 a.m., which made breakfast impossible to serve on time. To make matters worse, room rates seemed to change randomly, with no clear policy or transparency. Communication with management was poor—staff appeared dismissive and lacked basic courtesy. This place is a complete embarrassment to the hospitality industry. If you can’t find a room anywhere else, just sleep on the sidewalk instead of booking here. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances.

From check-in to check-out, every interaction felt personal and genuine. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk from the metro station, making it super convenient for exploring Kolkata. With such high standards in comfort, hygiene, and hospitality, this place stands out in the city. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family.
