This is easily one of the best hotels in Nara town. The atmosphere is peaceful and elegant, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—friendly service, clean rooms, and a lovely ambiance. The breakfast spread was already quite good, but it could be even better with a wider variety of hot dishes and more local specialties. Still, it's a standout choice for anyone visiting Nara. Comfortable, well-located, and truly memorable. I’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and come with modern amenities. Staff are attentive and genuinely warm. A complimentary shuttle service connects the hotel to key transport hubs, making travel stress-free. But the real magic happened on my private balcony: I watched a group of deer casually stroll by, some resting under the trees like they were part of the scenery. It was surreal and heartwarming. The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Tōdai-ji Temple, making it ideal for exploring the park in autumn when the foliage turns golden and crimson. It’s one of the most beautiful times to visit Nara, and being so close to the temple made everything even more magical. This place offers incredible value and charm—definitely a top pick if you’re visiting Nara.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, and everything is very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful, which adds some positive points. However, there’s one major issue that really stood out: you have to check in and check out every single day, even if you’re staying multiple nights. This means you must pack and unpack your luggage daily and leave it at the front desk. During the day, from 11 AM to 5 PM, you’re not allowed to stay in your room—which made things extremely inconvenient. On one occasion, I twisted my ankle and wanted to rest in the room, but couldn’t. We ended up spending the whole day at a nearby shopping mall just to find a place to sit. What’s more surprising is that this unusual policy isn’t clearly mentioned on any booking platform, so guests go in completely unprepared. It feels misleading, especially since I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world and never encountered anything like this. While the location is a big plus, the lack of transparency and the rigid rules significantly hurt the overall experience. Not recommended unless you’re fully aware of these restrictions.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I saw the exterior, it was clear this place had a stylish and thoughtful design. It’s incredibly convenient: just a 7- to 8-minute walk from either Nara Station or Kintetsu Nara Station, making travel in and out of the city so easy. Plus, there’s a Lawson right across the street—perfect for late-night snacks or essentials. The location is truly unbeatable. Thanks to this great setup, my trip felt much more relaxed and enjoyable. I’m already planning to come back again. Highly recommended!

For repeat stays, they even offer fresh towels and daily trash collection; just place your used towels in the laundry basket and leave both the basket and trash bin by the door. What really stood out was the peaceful vibe of Nara—the locals are incredibly kind, especially toward the deer, which made the whole experience feel so warm and welcoming. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time to truly soak in the city’s charm.

I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Nara—and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
