The in-room mini-fridge was fully stocked with 10 free drinks daily, plus one bottle of wine. Housekeeping came twice daily—morning and afternoon—for a consistently clean space. The only minor issue was a slight musty smell upon arrival, but it disappeared within a few days. With so many stunning photo spots—definitely more than 20—I couldn’t stop taking pictures. I booked a triple room, and while the room faces the street—which means traffic noise and early morning prayer announcements can be loud—I’d still highly recommend it. The pros far outweigh the minor cons. The tap water is safe to drink straight from the faucet, which is rare and impressive. The bathroom is spacious with a lovely bathtub, and the minibar even came with two complimentary drinks—such a nice touch! The staff, including the Chinese-speaking team, were friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home. Even though there’s some street noise, it’s a small price to pay for such a well-located, stylish, and thoughtfully designed stay. A truly memorable experience—definitely worth returning.

And don’t miss the free afternoon tea: the yellow cassava cake was delicious (though it’s not served daily, so lucky if you catch it). After a long day exploring George Town, coming back here to sip tea, enjoy a snack, and relax with a book felt pure bliss. Staff were incredibly polite and attentive—always ready to help. We arrived early in the morning and were surprised to be checked in by 11 AM! Plus, the two resident cats are adorable—they wander the halls like true hotel celebrities.
