King's Hotel First

Staying at King's Hotel First in Munich was a solid experience overall. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the main train station, and exiting via the north entrance makes it even quicker. Right outside the hotel, there’s a tram stop, which made getting around the city super convenient. We were given a corner room with a king-size bed, but the layout felt awkward—there was very little space to move around, and fitting luggage in was tricky. The bathroom was quite small, and the mini bar (including a coffee machine) was tucked inside a cabinet without any lighting, which seemed odd. Wi-Fi was weak in our room—only reliable near the toilet—though the room on the other side of the corridor had much better signal. Since the room is close to the tram line, there was some noise at night, so if you’re sensitive to sound, consider booking a room on the opposite street, as we did before and found it significantly quieter. Despite these minor drawbacks, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room amenities were thoughtful. It was still a good night’s sleep, and the convenience of the location really makes up for the small imperfections.
