When I picked up my bags later, he noticed it was my first stay here and kindly took a moment to explain how to use the key card for the elevator—though I already knew, his thoughtful gesture made me feel truly valued. It’s clear this team genuinely cares about guest experience. From the warm greeting to the small but meaningful details, every interaction stood out. A fantastic first impression with excellent service that goes above and beyond. I’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast options were plentiful and varied, with hot items and fresh pastries that tasted great. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. It's a fantastic value for the location, right near Santa Monica’s vibrant area. Would definitely book again if I ever return to the city.

A pair of earplugs or keeping the windows closed helps a lot. Despite that, the value for money is excellent considering the location, cleanliness, and comfort. If you're traveling with a car and want a quiet, cozy base without breaking the bank, this place is definitely worth checking out. Not ideal for public transit users, but perfect for those who prefer flexibility and convenience on the go.

We felt safe during the day, but walking back late at night, we noticed a few people around who made us cautious. That said, it’s more reflective of the local area than anything the hotel did wrong. Overall, the value for money is excellent, the staff were friendly, and the central location makes it hard to beat. I’d definitely stay here again.

I’d absolutely recommend this gem to anyone visiting Santa Monica.

I arrived earlier than check-in time, but the staff welcomed me immediately and got me checked in without any hassle. The owners are a lovely couple—so warm and flexible with their service that it felt like staying at a friend’s place. The garden on-site is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. It’s super convenient too: there are plenty of restaurants nearby, a 7-Eleven right across the street, and fast food options just steps away. I’m already planning my next trip to Santa Monica just so I can come back here. This place has a genuine charm and excellent value—you won’t regret booking with the platform.

I was extremely disappointed with this property. I initially booked through a platform and had a free cancellation option, yet they charged me for the first night despite still being within the cancellation window—due to a date error. When I rebooked, we canceled the day before because of troubling reviews about the hotel. I accepted the $217 cancellation fee without issue, but then the hotel charged me the full amount of $651 instead! That’s completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the place itself is a disaster. We encountered French guests who stayed only one night and left immediately—they mentioned cockroaches, filthy conditions, and unbearable noise. The room was not clean, the building felt rundown, and the overall experience was far below any standard I’d expect. Avoid this hotel at all costs—it’s not worth the money or the stress.
