Stayed for three nights at Taj Santacruz and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious—especially considering the hotel’s prime location just outside T1 Terminal, making airport transfers incredibly convenient. Our family of four appreciated the ample supply of drinking water throughout our stay. The room curtains offered complete blackout, and the soundproofing made for a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was solid with a good variety, and the live food counters were especially impressive in terms of freshness and quality. A few more fruit options would have been nice though. One standout moment was interacting with a young staff member who has a disability—his smile was radiant, and he communicated with us using sign language. It was heartwarming and truly reflected the inclusive values embedded in the Tata ethos. This hotel isn’t just about luxury—it’s about humanity. I’d definitely come back.

The restaurant offered decent food and had a nice view, but the service was far from professional—waitstaff stared at guests while they ate, which felt awkward and disrespectful. Room cleanliness was poor: dust everywhere, and the bathroom lacked basic hygiene standards. There were no room amenities provided, and the charges felt excessive for what was delivered. While the view from the room itself was pleasant, it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall shortcomings. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed stay, I’d recommend exploring other options. This place simply doesn’t deliver value for money.

Golden Chariot the Boutique Hotel, Andheri
My stay at Golden Chariot the Boutique Hotel, Andheri was just okay. When I arrived, the hotel wasn’t ready to accommodate the five guests I had booked for—thankfully they were willing to work it out later. However, one TV in the room didn’t work, which was a bit frustrating. The bathroom drainage also looked unclean and needed attention. Overall, the experience wasn’t bad, but there were noticeable issues with basic amenities and cleanliness. If they improved maintenance and housekeeping standards, it could be a much better option.
Backpackers Villa Mumbai
We booked our room over a month in advance, but despite multiple attempts to contact the owner for confirmation, we received no response. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was extremely unfriendly. They took our passports, photographed them, and then took pictures of us without asking for consent—this made us feel very uncomfortable. The staff then called their boss, put me on the phone, and told me outright that they couldn’t provide us with a room and that there was nothing they could do to help. It was frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. We were left stranded with no alternative accommodation arranged. This experience was far below expectations, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
