Yumegiku Onsen Hotel is a top choice for experiencing authentic Japanese outdoor baths in Tokyo, located near Shinjuku Gyoen and Shibuya. The hotel offers private open-air baths and traditional tatami rooms, with some suites providing panoramic views of Tokyo’s skyline and distant mountains. Guests enjoy complimentary Japanese-style afternoon tea and access to a relaxing foot bath area. Conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk from the Tokyo Metro network, it’s ideal for travelers exploring major attractions across the city.

The most convenient route is taking the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Shinjuku Station, then transferring to the Toei Oedo Line and getting off at Uyemura-cho Station, followed by an 8-minute walk to Yumegiku Onsen Hotel. This route connects central Tokyo areas like Ginza or Asakusa within approximately 25 minutes. Alternatively, take the Toei Bus 'Shinjuku Sanchome' stop and walk 10 minutes. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service (reservation required), ideal for guests with luggage or elderly travelers seeking a seamless journey.

Beyond soaking in natural hot springs, the hotel offers distinctive activities: kimono rental (wear traditional kimonos while strolling through the garden), daily limited matcha meditation workshops, and night-time open-air baths under the stars (winter-only). Some packages include kaiseki dinner and handmade hinamatsuri doll crafting, offering deep cultural immersion. Additionally, the evening garden lighting display creates a serene atmosphere, blending steam from the baths with the rustle of pine trees, evoking a living ukiyo-e painting. These thoughtful touches transform the onsen experience into a sensory and cultural journey.

Yes! A 10-minute walk leads to Shinjuku Gyoen, a stunning park blending Japanese, English, and French garden styles, renowned for its seasonal blooms—especially cherry blossoms in spring and vibrant autumn foliage. Just 15 minutes away is Meiji Jingu Shrine, one of Tokyo’s most significant Shinto shrines, set amid a tranquil forested area perfect for prayer and quiet reflection. For modern urban vibes, Shibuya Crossing and Harajuku’s Takeshita Street are reachable in just 15 minutes by train. These attractions pair beautifully with the onsen experience, allowing visitors to effortlessly transition between nature, tradition, and city life in Tokyo.

Absolutely! The hotel features family-friendly rooms equipped with children’s slippers, toiletries, and non-slip flooring, plus dedicated children’s bathing hours daily from 3–5 PM. The grounds include a kids’ play corner and a family-sized onsen pool, ensuring parents can relax while children enjoy safe, supervised fun. The restaurant also offers a child-friendly menu and low-allergy ingredients, catering to diverse dietary needs. Whether for a weekend getaway or a short vacation, it’s an ideal destination for families seeking comfort and connection.

The hotel draws water from a deep aquifer 800 meters underground, rich in calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate ions, with a clear, slightly alkaline composition known to relieve muscle tension and enhance skin metabolism. Water temperature remains stable between 41°C and 43°C, classified as a medium-temperature thermal spring ideal for extended soaking. The onsen area features natural stone finishes and wooden architecture, enhanced by flowing water sounds for a calming, immersive environment. A nightly water disinfection and circulation filtration system ensures hygiene and safety, allowing guests to enjoy a healthy, rejuvenating onsen experience with peace of mind.

Mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection

Staying at Mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room was spacious and perfect for a family trip—especially since we booked the piano-equipped room for my child’s practice sessions. The digital piano was excellent quality and made it easy for them to keep playing throughout our stay. What stood out even more were the thoughtful touches: a pour-over coffee maker and a traditional matcha whisk were provided in the room. I enjoyed making fresh coffee and matcha every morning—both the brews and the ingredients were top-notch. Plus, the minibar was fully stocked with free drinks and beverages; as I don’t drink alcohol, I simply swapped everything to water, which was a nice little convenience. Cleanliness was impeccable—every corner felt spotless, and the overall hygiene level exceeded expectations. The location is fantastic too: right next to a convenience store, and just a 10-minute walk to both subway and tram lines. Getting to Ginza takes only one stop on the train, and exploring other parts of Tokyo was super easy. The lobby faces directly toward Tokyo Bay, offering breathtaking views—especially lovely during sunrise. The staff went above and beyond. Communication was smooth in English with no language barriers. Breakfast was a highlight—wide variety, beautifully presented, and deliciously crafted. On checkout day, I wasn’t feeling well and mentioned I might need a late departure. Without hesitation, they extended my check-out time to 2 PM and even offered to help carry my luggage. That kind of care truly made the difference. This hotel delivers on every front—great facilities, unbeatable location, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back.

The Tokyo Edition, Ginza

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Ginza, steps away from shopping and dining. I and Xiang’s ice cream shop is literally right downstairs, perfect for a sweet treat without leaving the building. Compared to staying at the Aman, this was far more convenient. The hotel isn’t huge—nothing like the larger Edition properties back home—but in Tokyo, it’s excellent. What really stands out is the service: every time you walk in or out, staff greet you by name with genuine warmth. It’s so friendly, you almost feel like you’re being welcomed home. The room itself is spacious, clean, and well-designed, with incredibly comfortable bedding. The pillows are exactly my type—just firm enough to support, yet soft enough to dream on. Overall, an outstanding stay that exceeded expectations.

Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo

Staying at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo was an absolute delight from start to finish. While the entrance isn’t immediately obvious—our taxi drivers had to double-check twice—the staff made up for it with warm, attentive service the moment we stepped inside. We pre-booked two restaurants in the hotel, and they even provided elegant dining invitations—a lovely personal touch. The sushi experience at HOSEKI was exceptional, with a high-end omakase that showcased pristine ingredients and masterful craftsmanship. The Italian restaurant offered a romantic atmosphere perfect for couples, with dishes that were as visually stunning as they were delicious. The real surprise? The rooftop bar, located on the top floor with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Only guests are allowed in the outdoor section—just mention your room number and you’ll be guided to a prime spot overlooking the city lights. It was the perfect way to unwind with a cocktail under the stars. Special thanks to Lily, our friendly Chinese-speaking area supervisor—her professionalism and genuine hospitality made all the difference. Breakfast options included in-room or dining room service, and each day came with fresh fruit, welcome treats, and evening herbal tea for relaxation. The mini-bar featured non-Bvlgari branded drinks that were completely free—no hidden fees. For dessert lovers, this place is heaven: the cakes and chocolates at the lobby counter are simply irresistible. And leaving the hotel, we received a commemorative Bvlgari luggage tag—such a sweet final gesture. Every detail felt intentional, luxurious, and thoughtful. This isn’t just a stay—it’s a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back.

All amenities were thoughtfully provided, making the stay seamless and enjoyable. Courtyard Tokyo Ginza Hotel

Staying at Courtyard Tokyo Ginza has become my go-to choice for business trips. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to Ginza Central Street, with everything you need right at your doorstep. The hotel’s ground floor features a variety of dining options, including a sushi bar, teppanyaki restaurant, ramen shop, and even a luggage store—all newly opened this year. I love that there’s a 24-hour convenience store nearby, which is super handy late at night. The breakfast buffet is consistently excellent, offering a wide range of fresh and delicious options. Everything about this hotel—from the convenience to the comfort—makes it stand out. If you're visiting Tokyo on business or leisure, this is definitely a top recommendation.

Staying at Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—super convenient for getting around Tokyo, with easy access to Ginza and Asakusa via subway. There’s a fantastic variety of dining options right outside the hotel, making it easy to grab a bite anytime. One of my favorite things? Walking in and immediately being offered a cold Asahi—just sit back, relax, and enjoy the vibe. Courtyard Tokyo Station

Staying at this hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The location is unbeatable—right next to the train station, making it super easy to explore the city without hassle. I appreciated how quiet and well-insulated the room was, even with all the train activity nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the front desk team who went above and beyond to assist with luggage storage and local recommendations. They even pointed me toward a hidden gem of a ramen shop just around the corner—worth every bite! Clean rooms, great comfort, and excellent service make this a top choice for anyone visiting Tokyo. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Aloft Tokyo Ginza

Staying at Aloft Tokyo Ginza was an absolute highlight of our trip to Tokyo. Located just a 3-minute walk from Toyosu Station, the hotel puts you right in the heart of Ginza’s bustling energy. Within minutes, you’re surrounded by iconic shops like Mitsukoshi Department Store, LV, MUJI, Uniqlo, and even Nissan and Sony Experience Centers—perfect for a quick shopping spree or tech exploration. Standing at the crossroads near Mitsukoshi, it’s impossible not to feel the pulse of Japan’s vibrant retail economy. That said, we did hit a small bump: we booked a 27 sqm twin room through the platform, but were initially assigned a 23 sqm room that felt cramped—narrow windows, no real view, just a concrete skywell outside. Honestly, it was a bit disappointing. But here’s where the platform truly shined: customer service responded within half an hour, coordinated with the hotel, and arranged a seamless upgrade to the original 27 sqm room. The new room faced south, offered panoramic views of the lively commercial street below, and had excellent soundproofing—no noise from the busy city outside. The entire experience was flawless once resolved. From dining to exploring to shopping, everything was top-notch. We’re incredibly grateful for the platform’s fast, reliable support. This stay was more than just convenient—it was unforgettable.

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

I absolutely love the neighborhood—quiet, scenic, and just a short walk from the subway, making it super convenient for exploring Tokyo. Though the hotel is 40 years old, the main building was well-maintained during my stay. The room had clearly been renovated recently—clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English fluently, which made everything smooth and welcoming. It’s clear this place takes pride in its service and upkeep. I’d definitely come back again—it’s a standout choice in Tokyo.

the b asakusa

Staying at the b asakusa was an absolute game-changer for our Tokyo trip. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Senso-ji Temple, perfect for early morning visits without rushing. Right across the street, you'll find convenience stores like Seven-Eleven and FamilyMart, pharmacies, Don Quijote, and even Uniqlo—all within easy reach. With multiple subway stations nearby, getting around Tokyo is super convenient. But what really stood out? The hotel offers direct bus services to both Narita and Haneda Airports, which made our travel with luggage so much easier. We even walked to the nearest subway station to catch the airport express, saving time and hassle. This place combines comfort, accessibility, and practicality in a way that’s hard to beat—highly recommend for travelers who value seamless transit.

hotel MONday Akihabara Asakusabashi

Staying at hotel MONday Akihabara Asakusabashi was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was larger than expected, with smart space planning—especially the bathroom, which felt spacious and well-designed without feeling cramped. Cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay; we never had any issues with pests or hygiene, which gave us peace of mind. As a three-person room, there’s limited space to unpack fully—just enough for one 24-inch suitcase and a small carry-on—but it’s manageable. What really stood out was the front desk staff: incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they happily stored our luggage until check-in time in the afternoon—a thoughtful touch. Location-wise, getting to Asakusa Temple is super convenient—just a short walk from the nearest subway station. The only minor downside is that the station entrance has no elevator, just stairs, but it’s still very accessible. This was our first hotel in Japan with my parents, and the positive impression they left with us makes this place truly special. Great value, great vibe, and definitely a repeat visit on the list.

JR-EAST HOTEL METS KOMAGOME

Located just steps away from the subway station, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience—especially for travelers with lots of luggage. While it's not in a bustling area, the quiet neighborhood makes it a peaceful retreat after a long day exploring Tokyo. The room is compact but perfectly sized for solo travelers, and everything inside was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. What stands out most is how close it is to public transit—no need to walk far, which is a huge plus when you're tired or carrying heavy bags. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, adding a warm touch to the experience. With excellent value for money and top-notch location, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Tokyo on a budget.
