The Platinum Hotel
Staying at The Platinum Hotel was an absolute delight—especially for families. The pet-friendly policy is a huge plus, and I loved that there’s a dedicated outdoor dog area with artificial grass where my pup could comfortably do their business right on the ground floor. The room itself felt spacious like a real apartment, perfect for longer stays or traveling with kids. Bonus points for the complimentary bottled drinks—always a nice touch! Dining and shopping options are super convenient just steps away, and it’s easy to get around town via public transit. That said, there’s room for improvement: the layout could be better optimized. Since it’s an apartment-style suite, having two bathrooms (one for the bedroom area and one for the living space) would make things much more practical. Also, the lack of shower gel was surprising—they only provided soap bars, which feels less hygienic and wasteful since you need a new bar every time. It would be great if they included a laundry bag for dirty clothes too. Overall, though, this hotel delivers excellent value and comfort. Highly recommend for travelers who want a home-like stay in Las Vegas.

The kitchenette was a real plus, letting us cook our own meals and save money. We even brought a small toaster—maybe the platform left one behind? Cleanliness and staff service were excellent, and access to the pool area was convenient with well-maintained facilities. The only minor downside was some construction noise in the mornings, which might be noticeable if you’re sensitive to sound. Also, walking back through the corridor late at night from the strip can feel a little eerie with just one staff member on duty, though the lighting was decent overall. Still, it’s a solid choice for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and good value.

While I appreciate the effort put into cleaning, it wasn’t enough to make the place habitable. This experience was disappointing, especially given the location near the Strip. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone looking for a decent stay.

Parking is shared with Cosmopolitan Hotel, but there’s a dedicated underground level (Level 3) reserved for guests, which is very practical. Check-out is hassle-free: just take your card out, exit the parking area, and drop it into the box beside the machine. Simple and efficient. Overall, this place offers great value, comfort, and convenience—definitely a top pick for future visits.
