Arrived in the afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel directly next to Metro Line 2, making travel incredibly convenient—especially for catching Li Jingru's concert just two stops away at the Sports Center Station. I was on the 22nd floor, and while some renovation work was ongoing nearby, the front desk had proactively informed me upon check-in, which showed great transparency and care. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with all amenities fully functional and the overall environment well-maintained. Staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the excellent experience. Even with minor noise from construction, it didn’t ruin the stay—just a small trade-off for such a central and well-run location. The value for money is outstanding, and I’d definitely return. Looking forward to seeing how much better this hotel gets with time.
Echarm Hotel
As a visitor from Taiwan, I was thrilled to return to Xiamen for my second visit, staying here for three nights during the summer holiday (I previously stayed in room R720). This time I was in room R627, and while the overall experience was still excellent, there was one small downside—the bathroom had a lingering urine smell that never fully dissipated. I’d recommend checking ventilation or cleaning protocols in that area. However, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic—freshly made noodles with a great taste and a wide variety of options. It felt like a real treat each morning. The hotel is also super convenient for exploring local eats: just a short bus ride away from Malong She Food Street, and even closer to Dianqian Qingshui Temple and Chaotian Temple, both located in vibrant urban villages packed with delicious street food. If I ever come back to Xiamen, I’ll definitely choose Echarm Hotel Torch Garden Station again—it’s well-located, comfortable, and offers great value. Highly recommended!

I decided on a last-minute trip to Xiamen and spent an entire afternoon researching options before settling on this hotel—and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. As someone who usually has high standards for accommodations, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the place held up. The overall environment is clean and thoughtfully maintained, and the room itself was spotless upon arrival. There was a faint odor in the bathroom when I first walked in, but then I noticed the air purifier—small touches like that show real attention to detail. The mattress and pillows were both comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were exceptional—from the front desk team to the security guard and housekeeping staff. During the New Year peak season, we arrived to find no rooms available, but the front desk guy stayed calm and kept pushing for availability. He got me checked in quickly and efficiently. I’d been worried about rushed check-in possibly meaning poor cleaning, but the room was immaculate. Later, I noticed the curtains didn’t close completely, so I mentioned it to the cleaner outside the door. She came right in, tried to fix it, and even called the security guard when needed—all with a smile and zero hesitation. Super helpful and warm. Even ordering food via robot delivery was seamless and convenient. One minor downside: the GPS location isn’t very accurate—taxis often drop you off at the back entrance, requiring a bit of a walk around the building. Also, there’s a faint low hum from something outside the hallway at night—maybe electrical equipment? It’s barely noticeable, and since I’m sensitive to sounds, I initially thought it was the air purifier (but it persisted even after turning it off). Still, it wasn’t disruptive. These are really tiny issues that don’t affect the overall experience at all. All in all, this was a fantastic stay. I’d definitely come back if I ever return to Xiamen.
