Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa Universal Studios Area

We’ve been returning to Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa for three years now, and it just keeps getting better. The property is beautifully maintained—lush landscaping, sparkling pools, and a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attentiveness. The only small note is that the windows don’t have blackout curtains—just adjustable shades that don’t fully block out sunlight. This means we tend to wake up early when the sun comes up, but it’s a minor trade-off for such a fantastic stay. Overall, the resort delivers incredible value, especially being so close to Universal Studios. We’ll definitely be back again next year.

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! The resort grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped, with lush greenery creating a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The pool is huge—featuring a shallow entry area and a fun lazy river section—that kept my kids entertained all day long. We could easily spend an entire day just lounging by the pool, enjoying the vibe without needing to leave. What truly stood out was how close it is to Disney World—just a short walk or quick ride away. Being able to head to the parks first thing in the morning made our trip so much smoother. The convenience, comfort, and overall experience make this a top-tier choice for families visiting Orlando.

Marriott's Cypress Harbour Villas

We had an absolutely fantastic family getaway at Marriott's Cypress Harbour Villas! The villa was huge and incredibly well-equipped — it felt like a real home away from home. Our kids loved having their own space to hang out, which gave us parents the freedom to relax and enjoy some quality time together. The property is beautifully maintained with lush greenery and clean, inviting common areas. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and always ready to help — we appreciated every interaction. There’s a great variety of daily activities designed for families, keeping both kids and adults entertained throughout the day. From craft stations to themed events, there was always something fun going on. While there’s just one on-site restaurant, the food was excellent — especially the mahi tacos and funnel cake fries, which became instant favorites. And being just minutes from major attractions like Disney and Universal Studios makes exploring so easy. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this place delivers. We had such a wonderful time that we’re already planning our return trip!

Caribe Royale Orlando

Staying at Caribe Royale Orlando was an absolute delight! The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The resort has a wide range of amenities, including free rentals for fishing rods and bicycles, which made exploring the area easy and fun. The pool is huge and well-maintained, with a fun water slide that kept the kids entertained for hours. The shuttle service to Disney was a game-changer—it dropped us right at the park entrance, saving us time and hassle. Everything about this stay felt seamless and enjoyable. From the friendly staff to the great facilities, it’s clear this place knows how to deliver a memorable vacation. I’d definitely return and highly recommend it to any family or traveler looking for comfort and convenience in Orlando.

The room was excellent—spacious, clean, and well-appointed, making for a comfortable stay. We didn’t end up using any of those services during our visit, so it felt a bit like extra cost for something we didn’t utilize. That said, the location is a big plus: it’s very close to Disney World, making it super convenient for guests planning to spend most of their time there. If you're more focused on Universal Studios, it's a bit farther out—worth considering when planning your itinerary. Overall, despite the resort fee, the hotel offers great value, especially for families or travelers prioritizing proximity to Disney. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is attentive, making it a solid choice for a stress-free Orlando getaway.
