While the room is on the smaller side and might be considered mid-range by domestic standards (more like a budget-friendly chain hotel than a business-class property), the 700 RMB per night rate feels slightly overpriced. However, what truly stands out is the exceptional service. I arrived at the airport around 6:00 AM and reached the hotel before 9:00 AM. For just $50, I was able to check in early—well ahead of the standard 2:00 PM check-in time—with zero hassle. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout. If you value prompt, personalized service and don’t mind a modest room size, this hotel delivers more than expected. It’s definitely worth considering, especially for travelers prioritizing hospitality and location over luxury amenities.

Castle Hostel truly felt like home during my trip to Cairo—better than any other hotel I stayed at across the city. I visited eight different places, but this one stands out as my top choice and the only one I’ll return to. Located on the 16th floor, the views are unbeatable: you can see the city skyline, the Nile River, and even catch a glimpse of the pyramids in the distance. The location is fantastic—Ramses Street is just steps away, shops are a minute’s walk, Abu Tarek Koshari is five minutes on foot, and so is the Nile riverfront. The staff are incredible—warm, helpful, always ready to assist without being intrusive. There’s a real sense of calm up here, despite being right in the heart of the city. The energy is vibrant, yet peaceful. I’d happily book an extra night just to enjoy the view again. This place has a unique vibe that makes you want to come back. With light traffic, it's easy to reach many of Cairo's top landmarks within 30 minutes—perfect for exploring the city without wasting time on the road. But what really stood out was the customer service. Special thanks to Mirna—though we never met in person, she was available 24/7 for any questions or concerns. Her responsiveness and professionalism made the entire experience stress-free and incredibly reassuring. Truly exceptional service from start to finish.

Upon arrival around 3 PM, my room wasn’t ready yet, but the staff kindly escorted me to the lounge where I was treated to a complimentary drink while waiting. That level of care made the wait feel seamless. The mini-bar in the room was fully stocked with free snacks and beverages—although it’s typically replenished after three nights, they actually restocked it by the second day, which was impressive. I left a 50 EGP tip for one of the front desk staff, expecting it to be taken immediately, but surprisingly, it wasn’t collected until my final day. That small gesture really stood out—it showed genuine professionalism and thoughtfulness. The river view from my upgraded room was breathtaking, and the location is super convenient for public transit. This hotel offers exceptional value and service. Definitely coming back next time.
