Staying at La Cabane d'Ambroise was an absolute delight from start to finish. The cottage itself is beautifully designed with a charming rustic French countryside vibe—cozy, clean, and full of character. What really stood out? The private swimming pool—perfect for a refreshing dip after a day exploring Bordeaux. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the city center, making it easy to enjoy all the local charm without being overwhelmed by crowds. The breakfast was exceptional—freshly baked pastries every morning, paired with a great selection of local cheeses and cold cuts. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. We stayed for nine days, and each moment felt special. Bordeaux may not be as big as Paris, but it has such a cozy, authentic atmosphere—ideal for relaxing and soaking in the culture. This place offers incredible value and comfort. If I ever return to Bordeaux, there’s no doubt I’ll choose this little gem again.

The location strikes the ideal balance between tranquility and accessibility. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with great comfort and a warm vibe, this is definitely the place to stay. Brigitte couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful—she was always ready with personalized tips on where to explore and great local restaurants. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wonderful variety and high-quality flavors. While the B&B isn’t located right in the city center, it’s just a 50-meter walk to the metro, making downtown access quick and convenient. With such a warm host, delicious meals, and easy transit, this stay was truly memorable and highly recommended.
Les Séraphines Bed N Business
We booked the entire property for a family Christmas gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. Each guest had their own spacious room with a private bathroom and incredibly comfortable bedding—great for unwinding after long days. The shared living area is beautifully designed, featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a massive dining table that made mealtime and conversations so much more enjoyable. Guillaume went above and beyond with thoughtful touches—a lovely Christmas tree and, most importantly, an outstanding brioche that became a highlight of our stay. He’s also incredibly knowledgeable about local gems—his recommendations for restaurants were spot-on and left a lasting impression on our taste buds. The location is fantastic too: quiet neighborhood, just steps from a shopping center and, even better, right next to a tram stop. Bordeaux is so well-connected that we didn’t need a car at all (and we don’t usually drive there). Everything we wanted—museums, cinemas, cafes—was within easy reach. We truly enjoyed both the city and the accommodation. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

The location is excellent—super convenient for both downtown access and airport transfers. A mere €1.80 gets you to the airport by public transit, which is incredibly affordable. The room was clean, comfortable, and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a great value with reliable service and a prime spot in Bordeaux. I’d definitely choose this hotel again.

It’s brand new, super well-maintained, and located just steps from the train station. You can walk directly to the city center along the riverfront—it’s such a scenic and pleasant route. The hotel is a great, clean, and safe stop for travelers. Even though the room was small, it was spotless and well-maintained—perfect for a quick overnight stay. We traveled with three dogs, and the staff were incredibly accommodating without any issues. The receptionist was outstanding—fluent in English, which helped immensely since my French is limited to what I learned in school decades ago. He was friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to assist us. While there was some noise from other guests late at night (even around 3 AM), it didn’t ruin the experience. Overall, the location is convenient, the service is excellent, and the value is solid. A reliable choice if you're passing through Bordeaux and need a no-fuss, comfortable base.
