The staff here were absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room itself was cozy and spotless, making for a really relaxing stay. That said, there were a few small improvements that could be made: the bathroom could use more storage options—just one towel rack in the shower and a tiny hook on the wall, with no convenient spots near the sink for hand towels. Also, the lack of a working exhaust fan made the space feel humid and stuffy, especially after a hot day. Morning coffee service was disappointing too—it wasn’t available until well past the advertised time, and by the time we arrived at 7:00 AM, it was already gone. Still, these minor drawbacks don’t come close to overshadowing the positives. The pool area is stunning, with incredible ocean views and a peaceful, tropical vibe. Watching the sunset from the terrace was pure magic. This resort truly delivers on ambiance and comfort. We’d definitely come back again—this place has a special charm that’s hard to beat.

The new room had a beautiful view of the harbor, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. The hotel’s atmosphere is peaceful and well-maintained, with modern amenities and clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The only downside? Parking is $29 per day, but given how central the hotel is and how great the service is, it’s totally worth it. I’d absolutely stay here again if I’m back in San Diego. Highly recommend this gem!

The amenities were well thought out: while toothbrushes and toothpaste weren’t provided, they did include a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even body lotion—great for travelers who forget to pack extras. One small improvement would be adding a kettle in the room (though I know that’s not standard). Also, since we were a group of four, having four bath towels instead of just two would’ve been more convenient. Overall, the location is unbeatable, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service makes this hotel stand out. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!

I especially appreciated the little details—like toilet seats with covers in the public restrooms, which are surprisingly rare in the U.S. but made me feel more comfortable throughout our stay. The staff truly went above and beyond—always smiling, patient, and eager to assist with anything we needed. The property itself is stunning, featuring a private beach that added such a special, romantic vibe to our wedding day. One of my favorite things about Bahia is how pet-friendly it is—not just for dogs, but for wildlife too. Ducks wander freely around the grounds, and there’s even a resident seal sanctuary on-site. It’s such a unique and charming atmosphere that you don’t find anywhere else. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day of celebrations. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be adding a kettle in each room for tea lovers. Also, while laundry service is available, it requires purchasing tokens and detergent from the gift shop—but there’s no signage in the laundry area explaining the process, which caused a bit of confusion for some guests. Overall, both my husband and I, along with all our guests, had an unforgettable time at Bahia Resort. The beautiful setting, attention to detail, and exceptional service made our wedding truly special. I highly recommend Bahia Resort to anyone looking for a memorable event space or a relaxing getaway in San Diego.

Staying at Ocean Park Inn was a great experience overall. The location is fantastic—just steps away from the waterfront and close to all the main attractions in San Diego, making it super convenient for exploring on foot or by public transit. The room was clean and comfortable, though we did notice some noise from the laundry area next door, as guests started using machines as early as 6 a.m. If you're sensitive to early morning sounds, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room on the opposite side of the building—especially since that side faces a very busy square. Parking is also quite expensive, so if you’re driving, be prepared for higher costs. Despite those small drawbacks, the hotel offers excellent value for money, especially for families or travelers looking for a relaxed base with easy access to outdoor activities. I’d definitely stay here again.

Parking costs $25 per day, which is a bit steep, but considering how convenient the location is and how much value you get in terms of comfort and amenities, it’s totally worth it. Overall, this is a top-notch choice for travelers who want a peaceful stay close to major attractions.
