Everything about this stay was exceptional! The breakfast was delicious and the halo-halo was absolutely outstanding—hands down the best I've ever had. Jessa at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the entire team made us feel welcome from day one. Nurse Jay-Ar stood out—very professional and attentive. He carefully checked our blood pressure, even rechecked after identifying elevated readings in our group of seniors, and kindly offered me paracetamol for my headache. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. The coffee shop staff were consistently attentive and efficient, while the concierge and maintenance team went above and beyond to assist with every request. The only minor note: Baguio isn’t as cool as it used to be decades ago, so we’d highly recommend upgrading room air conditioning for greater comfort, especially during warmer periods. Despite that, our experience was flawless. We wholeheartedly recommend Le Monet Hotel to anyone visiting—excellent service, warm hospitality, and a truly memorable stay.

Staying at Guesthaven in Baguio for six nights was nothing short of extraordinary—especially coming from a very discerning traveler who’s visited over a dozen countries. The moment we arrived, drenched in heavy rain and struggling with our luggage, two young staff members appeared out of nowhere to help carry our bags. How did they know we were coming? That’s just the kind of attentive hospitality that defines this place. Our host, Ms. Ven, welcomed us like royalty throughout the entire stay. With only four beautifully designed rooms, the team dedicates their full attention to each guest, which explains why the service quality remains consistently exceptional. Every corner of the house is thoughtfully decorated—so much so that I spent nearly half an hour taking photos nonstop (yes, really!). We stayed in the Beth room, the largest on the main floor, featuring high ceilings, a king-sized canopy bed, a walk-in closet, and a window facing the garden. Across the hall was the Alpeh room, a queen-size space. Downstairs, two more guest rooms share a bathroom—perfect if you're traveling with friends, as you can have the entire lower level to yourselves. With a typhoon warning, we stayed in and enjoyed the cozy common area. Sipping local coffee with their famous cinnamon roll, lounging in comfort, feeling like kings and queens—thanks to the whole crew. They even took our laundry, hand-washed and folded it perfectly, returning it the next day. When we said we didn’t feel like going out for dinner due to the weather, they surprised us with a full three-course fine-dining meal served in the living area. It looked like something from a restaurant! Each morning, we woke up to an exquisite breakfast—so beautiful it almost felt wrong to eat. Fresh coffee was always ready, and every cup came with low-fat milk, even though I only mentioned it once. They remembered my preference without me having to repeat it. We spent hours in the common area working or enjoying afternoon tea, lulled by soft music from a vintage boombox and the warm scent of cinnamon drifting through the air. One small note: the shower water was lukewarm—something typical of Baguio’s climate—but we appreciated the extension cord they provided when we asked for more charging outlets. The only downside? A neighbor’s dog barking occasionally. Nothing the team could do about it, but honestly, it barely affected our experience. From start to finish, Guesthaven exceeded all expectations. Our stay at Chalet Baguio was mostly positive during our recent visit to Baguio. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Burnham Park, Session Road, and many of the city’s top attractions. It’s perfect if you want to explore the area without spending too much time commuting. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and quick to assist with any request. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and inviting. That said, the buffet breakfast was a bit underwhelming. The selection was quite limited, and the food quality didn’t live up to expectations—it felt more like a basic offering than something to look forward to in the morning. A bit of improvement here could really enhance the guest experience, since breakfast sets the tone for the day. Parking space is also tight, especially during peak hours, so arriving early or planning ahead helps. Despite these small drawbacks, the hotel offers great value for its location and service. If you’re looking for a relaxed, convenient base in Baguio, this is definitely worth considering.

I can’t speak for other rooms, but this one was exactly what we expected and more. One small note: there was a sign in the elevator stating the pool was under maintenance, which confused us since we saw it was actually open and being used by a family when we arrived. It would be helpful if that notice were updated to reflect the current status. Overall, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. From the warm hospitality to the clean, comfortable accommodations, this place truly delivers on its promise. Highly recommend—it’s a gem in Baguio!
Ridgewood Hotel Baguio near The Mansion
Staying here for two nights was a major disappointment. The room was filthy—dirt everywhere, especially in the corners, and the furniture looked worn out and unclean. The pillows were yellowed, clearly used for years, and the bedding was old, frayed, and far from hygienic. To be honest, we were the only guests during our stay, which made me wonder how many others had already avoided this place. It’s peak season, yet the hotel felt abandoned. I hesitated to write this review because the staff were genuinely kind and friendly—working in such an environment must be tough. But honestly, if no urgent renovations and deep cleaning happen soon, this property could turn into a ghost hotel. Hope the owners take immediate action before it's too late.
