With an early 6 AM departure, breakfast wasn’t available yet, but the front desk proactively informed me that I could grab a take-out breakfast pack from the lobby. It included a bread roll, milk, an egg, and a sausage—simple but satisfying, and way better than having nothing at all. I appreciated the thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location near Wenshu Temple is ideal if you want to explore local streets or enjoy some authentic Sichuan food nearby. Suboman Hotel (Chengdu Zoo Subway Station)

I decided to extend my stay by one more night—this is already my second visit to this hotel this year, and I’ve stayed two nights each time. Last time I was exploring western Sichuan, and this trip I headed to Yunnan.
