Hotel Tocq

Hotel Tocq is an absolute gem in Milan! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-located it is—just a short walk from the city center and surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and cafes. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the excellent soundproofing—no noise from the street or other guests. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Despite its high quality, the price point remains incredibly reasonable, making it one of the best value stays I’ve had in Italy. WorldHotel Casati 18

Staying at WorldHotel Casati 18 was an absolute delight—small but incredibly well-designed, with a recent renovation that really shows in the thoughtful details and refined aesthetic. I booked the Executive King Room, which offered more space than expected, with a comfortable bed, spotless cleanliness, and a calming atmosphere. The room came with slippers, powerful air conditioning, and convenient USB and Type-C charging ports right by the bedside—perfect for tech-savvy travelers. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just under a kilometer from Milan Central Station, a 15-minute walk away, and only three metro stops (about 10 minutes) to the Duomo. You're also steps away from Popomart and Buenos Aires shopping district—great for dining, browsing, and soaking up the city vibe. Breakfast isn’t overly extensive, but it covers all the essentials, and I especially appreciated the option to order fresh omelettes or fried eggs on demand—delicious and made-to-order. What truly stood out though was the service. From check-in to breakfast, staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. When I mentioned my original room had a bed size that didn’t match my needs, they immediately rearranged everything without hesitation. That kind of responsiveness and care made a huge difference. It’s rare to find such professionalism blended with genuine hospitality. This place feels like a hidden gem—well-priced, stylish, and full of heart. Definitely worth a stay if you’re visiting Milan.

Staying at Household Settembrini was an absolute delight from start to finish. We were warmly greeted by Giorgio, who shared some fantastic local tips for exploring Milan—super helpful and personal. Ariosto Social Club

The location is absolutely perfect—walking distance to all the main sights and shopping areas in Milan, so we didn’t need to rely on public transport at all. Chatted with a local shop owner nearby, who mentioned this area has higher property values, which explains why it feels safer and more peaceful than other parts of the city. There’s even a decent-sized supermarket just steps away, which came in handy after days of eating out—grabbing some chicken legs and ribs to grill at home made for a nice change of pace. I also had to do a bit of waste sorting during my stay, which was a small learning curve for someone used to not doing it regularly, but it felt good to be eco-conscious. The sofa bed is a real win—easily converts into a comfortable extra bed, allowing my kids and me to sleep separately without any disruption. Overall, this place is ideal for families, offering comfort, convenience, and a true local vibe. Highly recommend! It’s one of those stays where you feel like you’re living like a local, not just visiting.

The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering helpful tips and quick assistance. The rooms are spotless, beautifully modern, and so comfortable—especially the bed, which made for a restful night's sleep. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed. I’m already planning my return visit. A 10/10 isn’t enough—this deserves an 11/10. If you're looking for a stylish, well-located, and impeccably maintained stay in Milan, this is the one.

Italianway - Piazza Lima 1

We were supposed to receive the door code via email upon check-in, but it never arrived. When I tried to contact Italianway staff, I could barely hear them due to the loud noise in the office. They insisted it had been sent and that we should have it already. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally resent it. All this happened while we were standing outside in 34°C heat, waiting with our two heavy suitcases. To make matters worse, we had to carry everything up three flights of stairs to a flat without air conditioning—something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere before booking. As someone who’s lived in Italy for over 20 years (my wife is Italian), I know what to expect when traveling here, but this was still an exhausting experience, especially for us in our mid-seventies. That said, the apartment was clean and located in a very convenient spot—our only positive takeaway.

IH Hotels Milano Centrale

Staying right across from Milano Centrale Station is such a game-changer—literally steps from the train station, super easy to find and navigate. The hotel itself feels spacious and well-maintained, with a modern yet welcoming vibe. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, making it an ideal spot for both business and leisure travelers. I especially appreciated the quiet, cozy atmosphere after a long day of exploring Milan. One small note: while Europe tends to promote sustainability by not providing free toiletries or bottled water, having them available—even as optional extras—would make the experience even more convenient for guests who don’t bring their own. Still, the location, comfort, and overall value are outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Milan.
