Located in the heart of Santiago, Chile, Hotel Plaza San Francisco offers a great central location with easy access to shopping streets and a wide variety of restaurants. The hotel has a vintage charm with well-maintained facilities—everything is clean and in good condition. The breakfast spread is generous and fresh, with high hygiene standards. One small downside: there’s no kettle in the room, which makes preparing tea or coffee a bit inconvenient. Still, the overall experience is excellent, especially considering the convenient location and the clean, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and being close to city life.

Le Méridien Santiago stands out as one of the top choices in South America. Highly recommended for families and solo travelers alike.

They even helped with our luggage and offered great tips on nearby spots to explore. I stayed here in July and was thoroughly impressed— the room was spacious, comfortable, and offered excellent value for money. That’s why I decided to book again in September, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The hotel is well located with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to explore Santiago on foot or by metro. The breakfast spread was fresh and satisfying, with a good mix of hot and cold options—perfect for starting the day right. Cleanliness, staff friendliness, and overall comfort made this stay a highlight of my trip. If you're looking for a reliable, well-located hotel in Santiago that delivers on both comfort and convenience, this one is definitely worth considering.

The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from downtown Santiago, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The elevator was fast and efficient, which is always a plus when you’re carrying luggage. Breakfast was simple but satisfying—hot items, fresh bread, and juice were all on point. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything. From check-in to checkout, the service was exceptional. It’s clear they care about guest experience. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for travelers visiting Santiago.

The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the city center and within easy reach of public transit. I loved how convenient it was to explore Santiago without having to travel far. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a cozy bed that made for a great night's sleep. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, which was a big plus during the warmer days. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and welcoming. It’s rare to find such a great value in a central location, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this gem!

Nestled in the heart of Santiago, Hotel Sommelier Boutique may be small with just a few rooms, but its charm lies in its unique vintage character and rich atmosphere. The walls are adorned with authentic artifacts that tell stories of the past, making every corner feel like a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—each one went out of their way to offer helpful tips about local spots and travel advice, which made our stay so much more enjoyable. While some facilities, like the central air conditioning, aren’t perfect, they add to the hotel’s authentic, old-world appeal rather than detract from it. It’s clear this place values personality over perfection. For travelers seeking something truly special and off the beaten path, this boutique gem is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended.

Staying at Hotel Montecarlo Santiago was a solid choice for me. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Lastarria, steps away from Cerro Santa Lucía and surrounded by great restaurants. It’s also close to Plaza de Armas and many historic landmarks, making it easy to explore on foot. Public transit is just around the corner, so getting around the city is hassle-free. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room on the 6th floor had a lovely view of the hill, and the shower pressure was excellent. I appreciated that breakfast was included (though not overly varied), and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The price felt very fair for what you get. That said, there are a few things to note: the furniture looks a bit dated, there’s no fridge in the room, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable—frequent dropouts made it tough to connect. Still, considering the overall value, this hotel is definitely worth recommending. With a little improvement in internet reliability, it would be even better.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! Even though the place was undergoing renovations, I didn’t mind at all—actually, it felt special being part of the transformation. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by great restaurants and local vibes. Despite the construction noise, everything was well-managed, and the atmosphere remained warm and friendly. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality and value in a budget-friendly place. I left with a smile and already planning my return trip. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at, and I can’t wait to come back.

Staying at Hostal Boutique Casa la Barca was an absolute delight. The location is perfect for exploring Santiago—walking distance to great cafes, shops, and public transit makes getting around a breeze. The place is immaculately clean, with cozy, comfortable beds that made for a restful night’s sleep. The breakfast was a standout: abundant, fresh, and varied—there was something for everyone. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, making us feel right at home. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I’d highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Santiago. We’ll definitely be back—this is exactly the kind of stay you want when you’re looking to experience the city like a local.

I arrived at 2:00 PM and even though I had mentioned in advance that I'd be checking in late, no one answered the door or offered any assistance. It was frustrating to show up and have no staff available to greet me or help with check-in. The location is decent—close to public transit and downtown—but the lack of basic hospitality really let down the experience. For the price, you’d expect a little more professionalism, especially when guests are arriving after hours. Definitely not something I’d recommend.
